I think I've seen these types of behaviors in most people to some degree , How exactly does this work? are mentally unstable people more prone to have an excess of these traits to the point that they behave like these signs in an excessive manner that can be dangerous or problematic? or is it a combination of other factors as well? Is it normal for a human to have these signs at a minor level? I'd assume so since a personality is basically a collection of good and bad things or weird and normal traits together. We all also grow up in a mostly negative world so it could be possible that most people have these signs just at a smaller scale.
Narcissistic behaviour, like all behaviour, is on a continuum. A person may have minor evidence of these traits, or they can exhibit extremes of the traits. We change, we learn, we evolve, we grow. At some point in our lives, many may have exhibited some of these traits. Behaviour depends on context, for example you may have a man who is cold and objective at work, and a loving father at home. Narcissists exhibit these traits for a prolonged period of time and the behaviours are evident in all areas of their lives.
@@CrimePsych ok gotcha so what you're saying is being controlling to some degree at work is fine and necessary to achieve the results but a regular person goes back home and mellows out , doesn't expect everyone to think like them outside of work he respects other's boundaries whereas a narcissist will continue across all other times not just work or areas where this behavior is fine.
Since when is being objective and lacking emotion the same as being controlling? Who said anything about achieving results? I don't think any amount of explaining things further would help here.
@@CrimePsych ah yes you're absolutely right you said "cold and objective" contrasted by being a loving father at home. I guess I was trying to make sense of the video topic on narcissists and tried coming up with a scenario where these traits could also happen at work similar to what you said.
Mary Berry 😂 ‘full fat!!’ Love this K ❤
Ha, glad it amused you x
Thank you..
You're welcome
