I won a Corvid game against the Duchy and Keepers. I flipped to 22 on my second to last turn. The following turn, I flipped to 31 and won. I think it was because the Keepers were too busy recovering from my bomb the turn before, and the Duchy was too busy stoping to Keepers from winning(they were at 25 with a 2 and a 3 relic token near a waystation). Did I only win because my opponents were too dumb to get rid of the three face up plots I’d had the turn before?

These guides are perfect. Humorous and educational. I would just add that Propaganda Bureau is the Riverfolk’s best craftable. It solves their number one weakness which is the most expensive recruit in the game. It turns a commitment into a recruit action that also kills an opponent warrior, softening up cardboard. Just make sure you have Saboteur to protect your Propaganda Bureau investment.

Yeah this works. Beat a certain overconfident mole player ;p who was at 28 points when I skyrocketed from 17 to 30 points. To be fair though, while the moles definitely fed me, the cats and keepers also did their part to buy from me occasionally

Pro tip: get a significant other to play vagabond to feed you cards and bribe everyone else and you have an easy win (I was on the receiving end of this and obv this is not something that should happen lmao)

Oh, the Moles revealed a rabbit card? I'll be sure to try and target that rabbit clearing that now has 30 moles on it.

My second ever otter game I was gifted 9 funds from lizards, 6 from cats and 4 from birds in the same turn, with that I was able to jump from middle of the pack to 27 points with a coin in my hand that the remaining players had to prisoner dilemma buy from my hand at 4, needless to say they did not avert my victory

Do you have any interest in Arcs, out of curiosity? Finally got to play it and even though I haven't tried L&L or the campaign yet, I think the base game might be my favorite of Leder's works so far.

Very late to the party but with what I'd call the "sawmill flood" build order you showed around 15:05, you only get 20 points, and you clearly can't be crafting cards since you only play your first workshop on turn 5, do you get the last 10 points only by attacking the rest of the table ?

Just out of curiosity, are you planning on making Gittin Gud guides for the rest of the factions? They are incredibly entertaining to watch-not to mention their jaw-dropping quality!

Is this really patched though? I finished the game two weeks ago (btw it is fantastic) and my build ended up being Rattle'em'off + draw whole deck t1. Once you have 19 cards out of 20 in hand, you can just spam Baptiste's +1 patience card at no cost and therefore gain infinite patience.

It would be a convenient excuse to travel there for the first time, assuming i ever get some (four player) wins for the first time. Oh well.
