@@MindGobby The origin story is that I'm usually just Trixter, but that's taken in a few places so I add my most immediately visible attribute lol btw thanks :3
Great video. Love how you are commenting and explaining your actions. Could you perhaps elaborate more on why you think Vagrant is the best choice for this strategy and alternatively what other vagabonds would you choose?
Vagrant comes with coins, but no sword. Means more cards, and people have a harder time making you hostile. Other good vbs for this approach include harrier, tinker, and adventurer
I noticed the Vagrant's ability didn't get used once during this match - any scenarios in which you feel it's worth using? I'd assume for a decisive swing in points but I'm sure there's several opportunities for it.
It's actually quite a good ability, since it not only lets your opponents kill each other for you, but you get all the credit (esp if you're hostile with both.) I didn't use it here because it would've made me hostile to more factions, but it can be extremely useful if you're pursuing infamy scoring, or need a few more vp to close out an aid-focused game like this one. The main drawback isn't with the ability itself, it's that the vagrant's item pool is not well-built to run the strategies that would make the best use of it. Much like handing a gun to a toddler, it'll be a while before they can use it properly.
I know getting rid of swords is the best way to avoid going hostile (I tey not to go Hostile unless I have to), but I also get scared about protecting myself, having extra things to exhaust for aid/quests, and being able to adapt. Still, this did inspire me to practice Vagrant for times when Tinker is banned and Adventurer is taken.
I enjoy your commentary style. It's fun to pause and think about your strategic reasoning each turn.
so the vagabond is just OP regardless of what strat you choose lmao
Except the “camping trip” strat where you sit continuously in the forest
VB is very strong, but these opponents made some terrible choices

@@TrixterTheFemboy I read your name as Trickster Femboy which I thought was pretty funny and loki-esque, but Trixter is good too 🫡

You can safely cut the quests, unless you really need the card draw. They're reliably not worth your time.
@@Nevakanezah_ Oh I don't rely on them, but I like having the option if I need it.
keep up the good work! amazing content!
Real talk: is the Vagabond *too strong*?!
Not really. Send em to the forest early, and theyre far less daunting
It was a rogue. we're screwed
All rogue
Woohoo root video!
