I lolled pretty hardily at: "who do you hope the vagabonds use thier 3 swords on?" You: "Themselves".... it made my day right after spilling half a tall boy on my keyboard.. thank you sir!
I really like your videos... but i dont like the constant comments on how x player is new and isnt making optimal moves, they're actually kind of annoying... like just let the bloke play the game and have his fun through making mistakes and learning.
It's not meant in judgment, I keep reiterating that they're new just to emphasize that we shouldn't be holding them to the standard of more experienced players. The alternatives are either to treat them like any other player in which case their mistakes might sound way more damning, or to avoid commenting on their gameplay and having a video that's less informative and interesting. If you've got alternative suggestions that still work for a YT audience, I'll take them though.
@@Nevakanezah_ Oh ok that seems very fair, i still think its possible to just trust people wont be condescending about it and not really comment at all but if you think its necessary then i understand completely. I think it might just be the fact that i dont like when im playing a game with my friends and they're obsessed with sweaty competitive analyses of what the optimal turn would be when i kinda just wanna mess around and have fun. But then again i 100% understand that that's the type of stuff your audience LOVES and they might see value in those types of analyses that i dont, which is fine, i guess its not for me. I'd encourage you to keep an open mind though. Anyways apart from that i loved the video mate, very fun to have in the background! Do you plan on using this same chill format for tts games too?
>i still think its possible to just trust people wont be condescending about it and not really comment at all It's less so condescension, and more often people making glib comments like: "wtf the WA doin? lol." People are going to say dumb shit regardless, so the choice of how to present it is mostly reflective of how *I* want it to be portrayed. I choose to portray them as politely as I can. >i dont like when im playing a game with my friends and they're obsessed with sweaty competitive analyses of what the optimal turn would be >i dont like when im playing a game with my friends and they're obsessed with sweaty competitive analyses of what the optimal turn would be The channel's focused on competitive analysis because the niche was open and I find the discussion engaging, but I consider myself to be an agent of chaos over the table. In the art world, you may hear the phrase: "You have to learn the rules before you understand how to break the rules", and it does apply here as well. I would never advocate playing the game in a way you don't enjoy, however. As for sweaty analyses over the board: I *despise* having my turns quarterbacked by other players. Give me your suggestions, sure, but the second you tell me what I *should* be doing, I will make it my god-given mission to see your carefully-laid plans devolve into absolute chaos. Spare me the recap until the game is over, and we can commiserate together.

The real winner was arbiter,,,for being kind to cats :)
Great vid!
Root is my favorite singleplayer game
I still want to see the mole guide and what skit you pull off
Nemakedemza is the best UA-camr out there no wonder he has 5 billion subscribers despite there only being 8 million people on the earth
I love that you class "This man sure hates moles" as "trash talk."
I was torn between that, and "Police me harder, daddy."
Wake up babe, new Nevakanevah dropped (I have no girlfriend)
Its 4pm, time for your lizard-flattening
Ah yes, sitting in one corner with 10 moles and letting your lords and banker 3D print VP all game, what a fun and engaging faction.
Check out my limited-edition Duchy NFT collection, it's heading to the moon any day now.
I love the moles. They are my favorite faction. And seeing everyone hates them online makes me love them even more
As a consummate shitlord myself, I can respect that.
That Arbiter was a real bro. Did not expect to see Nev play the moles though, have thou succumbed to the dark side?
That would imply that i had offered any resistance
He's gotta tell us how to "Git Gud" by having SOME experience
First? Also, what a game! I feel the pain of lizards being the only ones with a brain to see who needs to be stopped and no players helping
def agree that moles play themselves. major threat every time they're on the board
Me, waiting patiently in the corner for the guide on this faction so I actually understand what a small mole is.
I’m new to root. Bought the digital version. How come I don’t see the chat option in the top right? Is it because I have it on the switch???
Youd want to ask Direwolf that one
Nintendo required disabling chat to push some voice chat feature as part of their subscription or smth that no one uses, very sad
Oh and BTW Nev.. Curse you! I cant see Guerric without thinking of that 1999 Sims model doing the running man... You sir, have ruined me.
Worse still: its the Fortnite default dance
Great game commentary as always!
Sometimes it takes unexpected moves to defeat the master. It doesn't always work of course
👍
I love the moles
C R O M U L E N T
I hate the moles so much. They are now my enemy, both in game and in real life.
love some root!
Lord of hundreds pls thx
yes moles ARE BS. so here's what you have to ask yourself: do I embrace it myself or watch someone else do it first? BOOM!
algorithm
I honestly couldn't get it what was this witchcraft!
Mole magic, plus a quick dose of people forgetting I existed.
Im pretty offended by what you put before me...
