Hi! And thanks for the comment. Yeah I believe the GH5 line of cameras are still overpowered and brings great image quality! I preordered the GH7 for the better autofocus though and more recording options. The ARRI Log is also something interesting for me to try. But it's not something that I consider necessary. I will always keep my GH5 as a second camera and still making content with it. I'm also planning to do some comparison videos from the GH7 to the GH5. Like dynamic range, image quality, autofocus e.t.c.. But the GH5 always remains a legendary camera for me. :)

@@benjaminlucasdelgado7272 Not at all. The GH5m2 is still a beast of a camera! And the image quality is great honestly. Stick with the GH5m2 and learn to make the best out of it. I suggest you one video of mine where I show more stuff of the GH5 and what it can do. I say that the GH5 is still an overpowered camera even for me and even in 2024 and I'm shooting with it since 7 years now. The GH5m2 it's even better. I have a playlist on my channel called.. Hi! Yes sure. I have used 2 different lenses. Sigma 16mm 1.4 and Sigma 30mm 1.4 ( Links in the description ) I have recorded this in V-Log and color graded using the conversion LUT from Panasonic. hey :) Thank you so much. No I didn't care any umbrella. I bought a rain cover for my camera and gimbal. If you want to check it out the amazon link of the rain cover is in my description. I bought 2 covers for 10US dollars. very cheap but helped me a lot. You're right I added the sound in post but next time I guess I'm going to record the rain direct in camera.

​@@kenslyder Good and simple thing with the plastichood. However, I think it will be difficult to record the sound directly without the noise of the footsteps and the rain on the plastic cover or creasing noises. It will probably be cleaner with extra recorded sound like you did here…

Thanks for the comment! If you haven't got a camera yet and no lenses, I thinks it doesn't really matter if you go with full frame or M43. You have to get used to one or the other system. What in my opinion is more important is if you need a good autofocus, get a newer camera than the GH5 or the S5! You can get a Full Frame camera like the s5ii for like 1500 us with a Kit lens to start or a G9ii for the same price M43. I've seen people selling the G9ii now for the GH7. Maybe you could find one soon. I would definitely safe a little bit more money and get one of those cameras just because of the very improved autofocus. My GH5 struggles some times. So after 7 years I'm definitely going to need a second Lumix camera with the new autofocus system.

@@kenslyder It’s the very best thing out there to truly match an Alexa. Make sure to get the full 65$ pack, which include versions for Tungsten and Mixed light scenarios.. which is crucial!!! Also make sure you use it right (read the included PDF). It will completely transform your GH5! 😎👊🏻

I’ve preordered the GH7 and as soon it arrives, I’m going to make some comparisons with the GH5 and these Lut’s you’ve mentioned with the Arri Log c3 in the GH7. Will be interesting. @@kenslyder Cool, but I already know the answer here. The GH7 will have a better image quality, but the GH5 will have a much better Alexa match. The included Arri LogC3 in the GH7 is only a curve and doesn’t align the colors with the Alev sensor. It’s like having a built-in V-Log to LogC3 "CST" in the camera.. it helps matching an Alexa, but not much since you can achieve similar results with the CST tool in Resolve. Emotive Color is the way to go for the ultimate TRUE match (no manual correction required). It even fixes some issues that the official ARRI 709 LUT has (you’ll see when you’ll read the PDF). It’s incredible! But don’t worry, Emotive Color for GH7 will come as well! ;)
