    I wanted to ad some small affordable lights to my gears that I can easily carry around for film making where I need some soft light for some situations like lighting a car interiorly.
    And so I bought 2 very cheap, small and lightweight but good quality video lights. Link in bio: VIJIM-VL120

    I need to use my camera app more now that my eyes are getting worse, but luckily the apps and phone are getting better. Thanks. Love the long haired cows, they give real atmosphere. I can feel the cold, damp air.

      Thanks that keeps me motivated to do more videos like that and use my GH5 almost every day now 😊 I love it. Yesterday it falled to the Flor but it still works like nothing happened. It's such a stable camera. I'm shooting in the rain often. Yes the camera is always covered with a plastic bag but I have never to worry about it if it gets a little bit of water splash 😃☺️

    Can you make a video about how to focus on moving objects what modes do you use, tips etc. ? How did y solving focus hunting/flickering/pulsing issue? And really thanks for you videos and passion explaning.

      Hi! Thank you very much for the comment! If you are using a camera before the new G9ii or S5ii with the new phase detect autofocus, it's a little hard to expect a very reaiable auto focus tracking. But I did a video adjusting the tracking autofocus on the GH5 as good as possible. I'll paste the link of my video here it's called: GH5 best AUTOFOCUS SETTINGS in Tracking - Mode With Panasonic Image app in 2023

      I hope this helps a little bit... and just ask if you have more questions :)

      @@victorsaenko2260 congratulations man. The GH5 has a superb image quality. The only issues is the auto focus sometimes. I suggest you to download the Panasonic Image app for Iphone or Android. So you can operate your camera remotely if you want to record yourself. The great thing with the app and Gh5 is that you can switch your camera in manual focus mode but still focus remotely with the app on your smart device. That way you won't get any pulsing and the focus is accurate! You have time to learn everything with the GH5, Great purchase!

      @@kenslyder ... this is what makes me thinking of switching from my current GH5 M2 to a G9 M2 (or a possible future GH7). I think it will make my life a lot easier when filming my grand daughter or my dog while they run.

    • @kenslyder
      @kenslyder  8 місяців тому

      @@DLpriv1 yes but I also try to stick as long as possible with the GH5. Don't need to spend 2000us dollars just for having a better auto focus when I have some technique to make the focus look good even on the GH5. And if the focus isn't in point everytime it's not a big problem. I'm also looking forward for the GH7 by the way ,😃

    I use a Nikon lens with metabones, so no auto features. What lenses do you recommend that are fast for a nice shallow depth of field but also work with auto features?

      Hi I use Panasonic 25mm 1.7 coast around 150 $ and a Sigma 56mm 1.4 coast around 400 $, as my fast lenses. And the autofocus works pretty good on those lenses as well. I'm very happy with it on the GH5. I almost always use autofocus
