what lut did you use mate?

How’s it going question for you if you got the time! Really enjoying your GH5 videos! One of my good friends who’s pretty involved with film told me to look into getting a GH5 because of the no record limit and the ability to run power externally through a battery. Also the potential of getting good lenses at a cheaper price due to their age. I’m planning on recording dj sets that span hours without stoppage and was wondering if you had any advice. The plan is to run 2 GH5s. One directly on the dj decks with some sort of wide angle, and one that is decently far back capturing a larger field of view with the crowd. I’m looking for two lenses. One for each of these angles.

Any tips would be incredible. I do think I may find myself in some low light situations, so lenses that can perform well in those as well would be greatly appreciated.

Hello! I can tell you after using the GH5 for 7 years now, that for longer video recordings it never over heating on me or gave me any trouble. The camera is solid so far. But I don't know how it will perform for even longer recording period like you've mentioned. For low light situations you're gonna need fast lenses. I use lenses with an aperture of 1.4 from Sigma.. I have a video separately talking about those lenses and demonstrating their ability. But there are even faster lenses with an aperture of 0.95 as I know. But those lenses have no autofocus, so you have to check your focus manually before shooting... Don't expect the autofocus to be good in low light situation of the GH5 anyways..I'ts true the GH5 has unlimited recording into 2 SD card slots. When one of those cards is full, it automatically starts recording on the 2. card without stop and you can even change the full card with an empty card for endless recording but I've never tested it myself. check out this video where I'm showcasing the Sigma lenses at f/1.4 for low light situation compared to some kit lenses.
