Hey thanks for watching! I just went to that point in the video to see if I could tell. Right at 12:45 as I’m real close to Shane’s quad I can tell that he’s still in High. The exhaust note and engine RPM is quite different between low and high. Right after that It sounds like we were in low. Most of the trail we use high. There’s only a few times we have to switch to low. That being said you could ride in low for the entire switchback section with no problem. I’ve found that they are very forgiving when it comes to range selection. I probably use high when I should actually switch to low but haven’t had any issues at all. I’m still on the original belt and it seems fine. Some machines aren’t that way and you can burn a belt if you’re not careful. This is my third King 750 and I haven’t ever had any issues issue with a belt and Most of my riding is like this. I just shift down in very technical sections where I feel I want to go slower and have more grunt down low. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the feedback I appreciate it. You raise a good question regarding range. I don’t have any experience with the 500 as all mine have been 750. I haven’t ever run it dry but probably pretty close. With the type of riding I do it’s right about 80 miles or there about. I would guess the 500 would do a bit better but really don’t know for sure. When I do longer rides I feel better hauling some extra fuel.

Hey the ere congratulations on your new quad. I have the 2.0 and my son and buddy have the 1. When I replace mine I think I will go with the 1.0. They have bigger lugs and are a heavier tire. You really can’t go wrong with either of those. I don’t have any experience with the 3s yet. I have stuck with the 25s and haven’t really ever felt like I needed the bigger 26”. That being said bigger tires look nice. Merry Christmas!

I haven’t really been checking it with a gauge for a long time. Back when I did If I remember right I was about 6.5 to 7 psi. I add more if I’m loaded down really heavy.

I really like the power steering and don’t think I would get one without it. I’ve never had any trouble with it. It’s minimal assist is about right. You still feel the road but it helps handle bigger hits and just doesn’t leave you as tired at the end of a day especially in the slower technical stuff. I’ve also heard some say the the front end can feel a little twitchy on the models without it. They are offering some pretty good deals on the non-power steering units here in Idaho falls. I really don’t think it would ever cause you any issues. I’m on my third one, my son and my buddy also have the same machine and we haven’t had any issues with it. Mine is now pushing 3300 miles of pretty rough country and still looks and rides pretty close to new.

@@aaronkelley7448 we are taking 50" RZR's so we'll see how it goes. Looks pretty narrow in a few spots. Three RZR's going in.....

We had a great trip. Weather wasn’t too bad and the fishing was good. We did see a couple 50 SXS but not too sure how difficult it is for them.

Sounds like a pretty good tire. I’ve seen them before and know they have a pretty good good reputation. I’m pretty sold on the the Big horns, but maybe I’ll give them a try. Wish I had the money to try more options. It gets expensive fast😬. Thanks for watching!

Funny you ask because they are actually on Shane’s quad not mine. I am planning on to get some and we will do a video for the install. Shouldn’t be too long before we put that one out. FYI we have found an issue with the LED bulbs and are trying to figure it out. We will update that video soon and discuss the issue. If you haven’t purchased them yet you might want to hold off.

End of August. How was your trip?

It was dope trails are good and we had good weather! Only bummer is that there was a fire ban so no bon fires for us this trip.

Yeah it stinks when you can’t have a fire. We went last week and it was a great trip.

There’s several areas you can unload but I was just before the split in the road near the falls. It’s a nice little pullout on the left as you head in from Highway 26
