What air pressure are you guys running in your tires?
Really enjoy your vids, thanks for sharing your adventures
Thank you, I need to get back out there.
10 hours or 100 mile break in period is for suckers. Baby it a little for an hour then let her rip!!
Light pod is a nightmare
Warn. Not warren. Ugh. Man.
Waiting on new king Quad video 👍🏻👍🏻
Sorry I’ve been so slow. I’ve got quite a bit in the works but just meet to get it done.
For anyone looking for an atv take this as a warning and some advice i have ridden alot of atvs i have owned many atvs if you want an atv that is reliable and will get you home go with the Suzuki king qaud 750 we have 3 different brands of atvs in our family and canam as well as Polaris they have had to put money into them alreay and the Suzuki king qaud 750 not a penny other then besic maintenance truly wish i would have went with Suzuki a long tome ago it would have saved me alot of money for sure
Maxis makes a nice tire but i prefer the GBC DIRT TAMER TIRES same lug design but a bias ply tire which i prefer over a Radial tire
Great video guys, much appreciated! Did you guys have the Amazon link, i didn’t see one?? On Amazon they are listing a couple different ones, one is $10 more and more Lumens but not sure exactly what ones to get?
this was impeccable. Thank you.
Thanks for the feedback and thanks for watching!
This is awesome. Thanks for sharing
What trail is this? Would love to do this trip!
Good stuff Aaron.Sure see the effects of the Mountain Pine Beetle, eh😮
Thanks. Yeah those little buggers are terrible for sure!
What PSI do you keep your tires at in this type of trail?
Don’t check it that close but I think it’s around 6 or 7 PSI
Thanks Aaron
Never mentioned the brute force. Great cvt and only v twin japan ATV
What a wonderful ride.
It really is!
Beautiful Atv's and terrain. I have a 2023 Suzuki Kingquad 500 and I love it. Only have 555 km on it so far. I usually bring a little Makita electric saw with me just incase I come across windfalls on the trails. Awesome video!
Thanks for the feedback! The 500 King Quad is a fantastic machine too. Thanks for the tip on the saw!
Do you pack extra gas?
Not on this trip. Doesn’t take too much because we’re really not driving that many miles
@@aaronkelley7448 Nice. I live in SE Idaho, ride all around the Mackay area each summer, thanks for the reply!
Nice, we go in the trail creek road but I hope to spend more time exploring other areas out there.
Beautiful country!!
Agreed, it really is. Working on the video from this year’s trip now
I'm in the market for a new ATV and I'm considering the King Quad. I'm interested in your opinion of the power steering vs. the non-power steering King Quad models. I've heard one owner say that the power steering on these units is negligible and unnecessary. I am looking for reliability and I am concerned about power steering failure. Thank you for the video!
I really like the power steering and don’t think I would get one without it. I’ve never had any trouble with it. It’s minimal assist is about right. You still feel the road but it helps handle bigger hits and just doesn’t leave you as tired at the end of a day especially in the slower technical stuff. I’ve also heard some say the the front end can feel a little twitchy on the models without it. They are offering some pretty good deals on the non-power steering units here in Idaho falls. I really don’t think it would ever cause you any issues. I’m on my third one, my son and my buddy also have the same machine and we haven’t had any issues with it. Mine is now pushing 3300 miles of pretty rough country and still looks and rides pretty close to new.
I really enjoyed your video. Nice riding! Thanks for the work you put into it!
Thank you! We just finished our 2024 trip and we’re working on the video. Should be done pretty soon.
Is there a level option on the head?
Not sure exactly what you mean. There is no bubble level if that’s what you’re referring to.
Great video looks like fun and the KQ 750 handled it fine. I'd take a pistol if I were you, if you needed it for bears or mountain lions etc.
any chance you would be willing to share this location?
You can reach out to me on Facebook messenger for more info.
Too bad they've got that route closed now. The family who owns the mining claim has closed off that road. You can still get to the top, you just turn right where they have their gate. Kinda sad, I loved that road to the top, awesome views....
Yeah we figured that out last year. At least you can still get up top. Agreed there are some fantastic views
We are going there next week. I've watched this video several times and I've finally figured out where this is. Can't wait to see in person. Thanks!!
Good luck! We will be heading out in a couple weeks. Let me know how it goes b
@@aaronkelley7448 we are taking 50" RZR's so we'll see how it goes. Looks pretty narrow in a few spots. Three RZR's going in.....
We had a great trip. Weather wasn’t too bad and the fishing was good. We did see a couple 50 SXS but not too sure how difficult it is for them.
Well done…the tip on touching the phone picture until the yellow box appeared and then holding for a few seconds and “locking in” the focus area for the picture solves most problems I was having to get the phone to focus on the right subject
Thanks man. It’s fun and frustrating trying to get everything just right but worth it when the videos or pictures come out better.
Use your saw.
Though not a Radial tire you should look at the GBC DIRT TAMER TIRES Tough tire 6ply and same lug pattern as a maxis bighorn
Sounds like a pretty good tire. I’ve seen them before and know they have a pretty good good reputation. I’m pretty sold on the the Big horns, but maybe I’ll give them a try. Wish I had the money to try more options. It gets expensive fast😬. Thanks for watching!
Hello, I was looking for videos on adding the heat demon hand warmers to a king quad 750 when I came across your video on upgrading to an LED light on the king quad and saw you have added the heat demons to that machine. PLEASE tell me you did a video when you added them!!
Funny you ask because they are actually on Shane’s quad not mine. I am planning on to get some and we will do a video for the install. Shouldn’t be too long before we put that one out. FYI we have found an issue with the LED bulbs and are trying to figure it out. We will update that video soon and discuss the issue. If you haven’t purchased them yet you might want to hold off.
Glad I’m looking for chest rig for GP100, you sold me.
Great video! Here is Elk City, ID it seems the only ATV that doesn’t blow a clutch from the mountain riding is the Honda Foreman 500. Everything breaks at 700, 1,000 or 1,500 miles and needs a rebuild.
I own a 2011 kingquad and I love it 4500 miles on it. And still going strong love it
Great the hear! I’m sitting at 3200 right now and still loving it. Thanks for watching
Great the hear! I’m sitting at 3200 right now and still loving it. Thanks for watching.
Your welcome
I was just up at copper basin last week. When is the next time you’re going up?
End of August. How was your trip?
It was dope trails are good and we had good weather! Only bummer is that there was a fire ban so no bon fires for us this trip.
Yeah it stinks when you can’t have a fire. We went last week and it was a great trip.
Kind of a cross draw oriented approach too but not on the belt.
Yes, that’s a good way to describe it. Still love mine and it’s holding up really well so far b
Sort of.
I got two Guides Choice Diamond D holsters for my X-frame 460V and 500 S&W magnum 6.5 inch X-frame.
Love the trip, I need to go and do that one. Thanks for sharing!
I've seen elk, deer, moose, bear, fox and a wolf on this trail (the old railroad bed). We ride it from warm river to West Yellowstone and back every year.
Cool, it’s a fun trail for sure. I have seen more animals in that area too but this day was a little sparse on the animal sightings
Great video. Is there just one staging area for swan valley? If not, could you tell me where you staged? Thanks!
There’s several areas you can unload but I was just before the split in the road near the falls. It’s a nice little pullout on the left as you head in from Highway 26
That river is not warm.
Warm river definitely has cold water!
I wanna move to idaho
There’s plenty of room😎
Awesome!! You guys have so much to explore out there. Looks like you both had a good time! Say hi to the family for me. 😁
Hey man, thanks! You need to come out for a visit so you can see everyone.
What a view, love those ATV trips in the Mountains. Lucky me I live just a few hours north and share the same Mountain Range. Currently in the process of buying a quad and enjoy the same adventures!
Having a quad really does open up some great opportunities to see and experience things that would very difficult if not impossible otherwise. I’m excited for you. Thanks for watching!
Awesome you got to do that ride with your dad!! Looked like he had a good time on those off cambers!! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Chris, it really was fun spending time with dad in some awesome country.
Interesting question but how do you find these cool places?
I just just hit trails that aren’t too far from home and whenever I get a chance I go explore new ones. This part of the state is loaded with nice places to ride.
@@aaronkelley7448 yeah for me out in the east coast I have to find many designated areas... after college when I finally get my life together I plan to hopefully move out west closer to the different landscape. Thanks!
Hey Aaron. I live in Ammon ID. I would love to talk some time or do a ride together. Are you open to talking?
Sure, I work at the Deseret Industries in Ammon. Call there and ask for me. Probably the easiest way or send me a friend request on Facebook and we can use messenger after that.
I bought a bison bumper
How do you like it so far?
I was told that the reason Yamaha did the halogen light on top is that it cuts through dust better then led. And that’s from a Yamaha dealer.
I have heard the same thing recently. I guess that makes sense.
?my king quad suspension is really rough .is that good or bad idk how to feel about it
I have found that the ride quality is really impacted by the tires. Stock tires give decent ride but aren’t any good for wear and are very susceptible to puncture. I tried the Sedona Rip Saw on my 2019 with stock suspension setting and it rode way too rough for me. Switched to Maxxis bighorn 2.0 and it was much better. Maybe consider lower tire pressure too?
@@aaronkelley7448 thx I thought it was the shocks valving or bushings that were designed like that, btw it is 2014 with Sedona mud rebel tires. tires are so thick it can take 0 psi and feel like 100. I remove the saw bar and still same result. do you think new softer shocks are an option or will not make any difference?
@@aaronkelley7448 you still there? it's been 3 weeks.
Sorry missed your last reply sorry. That would be an option for sure but can be really expensive. Unfortunately I’m not super knowledgeable on aftermarket suspension components. Hope you get it figured out. Good luck!
