I’ve had both a King Quad and a RZR 900. I MUCH prefer the Quad. In fact, I only had my RZR for a few weeks and sold it because I didn’t like it at all. UTVs have all the hype and cool factor but I found few advantages with them over a Quad. A quad will get you a lot more places and is much easier to handle. A RZR just allows your broke friend to tag along lol.
@@aaronkelley7448 yes I got the se, and they look great especially with the suzuki caps. It's safe to say I'll be disappearing every weekend to the trails. Great vids, keep them coming.
TW would eat it up, but make sure you get a good skid plate, tons of rocks on this one. There are lots of little off shoots that you can take. If you want to make a day of it you can ride this one up over a 10K plus summit and down the other side .
I just recently found your channel and I'm quite impressed. I have a 2017 750 King and I love it. I have over 3000 miles on it and she's just like new. No problems at all. I really like your content and the places you go are quite interesting and scenic. I noticed in this video you were traveling uphill doing about 10-15 mph for quite sometime in high gear. My dealer told me that I should be in low when traveling like that (especially if you're carrying a load ) otherwise it can be hard on your belt. Not sure if you knew that or not just wanted to inform you. Thanks for posting and keep up the good work! Happy New Year from Canada!!
Thanks man, glad you’re enjoying the videos! You’re right, it’s probably best to drop it into low when it gets steep and speeds drop. I just get lazy sometimes😬. I haven’t had any issues with the belts on any of mine so far and I’ve ridden them all in a similar fashion. I guess that just illustrates how tough and how long the belts will last even when they’re getting some abuse😎
Thanks man! They are Cabelas mittens that I bought years ago. I really like them. Seems like they have a thinsulate lining if I remember right. Seems like I paid $50 or $60 for them at the time.
@@aaronkelley7448 Excellent. Thank you. I live in Washington State (unfortunately) and from the many videos of yours I've watched, Idaho sure seems to have a really good trail system for ATVs compared to Washington. BTW, your production values are excellent and I really appreciate that you don't overdub music into the your videos. Your commentary is always purposeful and interesting and big bore exhaust sound is music enough. Thanks again.
Another GREAT video Aaron! I've got 75 miles on my new KQ 750 and what a joy it is to drive on all my local trails. I've had the sway bar off for the last 3 days and will most likely never put it back on! I really like the way it handles the ruts, rocks and uneven terrain....very smooth, feels like at times it's floating over most of the ruff stuff! I'm also getting much more comfortable driving it on tight turning trails. Many of the trails I drive on are simular to ones in this video. I've decided to buy Big Horn 2.0s. 25x10x12 25x8x12s I'm afraid that the standard Big Horn sidewalls might be too stiff & that might take some of the plushness out of my ride???
I will probably take the sway bar off again after my fly fishing trip. I agree that the ride is really plush with it off and it still handles about anything as long as you’re aware of the difference in how it rides. It’s a good mod for experienced riders who mainly hit the trails and want a smoother ride. I’ve even ridden it pretty aggressively without issue. You might be right that regarding the side wall on the original Big Horns. I can say that my 2.0s have been fantastic and are holding up extremely well. I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying your King Quad. In my opinion they’re hard to beat. I checked out your channel and subscribed. Looks like you’ve got lots of experience making videos and I’m excited to see some new ones with your Quad.
I prefer the chest one. I move my head too much and on the machine would be bounced as I'm a shock absorber too lol. You get to see the trails really well and part of the machine too.
Too bad they've got that route closed now. The family who owns the mining claim has closed off that road. You can still get to the top, you just turn right where they have their gate. Kinda sad, I loved that road to the top, awesome views....
Steve & Frankie I totally agree...ATVs connect you with the trail riding experience. SXSs can feel a lot like riding on those same trails in a tricked out jeep with no windows or A/C! Loud hot cab, dusty and boring! We owned a KRX1000 from Feb-June of this year and we never really got excited to go on a trail ride. We bought a 2021 KQ750 3 weeks ago and ride our local trails sometimes twice day and enjoy each ride like it's our 1st! It's smooth, quiet and is a blast to drive!
@@kartpilot63 KQ ? Is that a Brute force , I run a 2020 Grizzly and also a 2017 for the wife with just under 100 miles wife likes to ride so i upgraded her quad and my dad or son use it hunting
@@grousehunter67 No, my KQ is a 2021 Suzuki 750 King Quad. Everything about my new KQ 750 is just amazing! The power steering, ride & handling is perfect on every trail I drive it on! And as far as power, it has Plenty! I own 2 SRA perfect running 2005 Kawasaki Brute Force 650s and my new KQ 750 is pure joy to drive compared to those quads. The only thing my 2 BF 650s have over my new KQ is it they have a little more bottom end throttle response. But driving them both WOT on a 400' blacktop road from a dead stop. My Brute Force 650 went 52 and my new (broke in) King Quad did 57 mph! These new 750 King Quads are snicky fast!
Great video Aaron man I need to make it out your way this spring. Due to high fire danger I haven’t rode my quad for about two months ugh. But I think I’m going to go over by Bend Oregon Labor Day weekend for the day it’s a long day 4 hour drive over and then back plus my riding time ends up being about a 14-16 hour day. But we’ll see my friend who lives by you in Idaho falls might be coming over here to Eugene from a motocross race if he does I’ll stay here and go down there to meet up with him. Again very jealous of the beautiful riding areas you have around you. 👍👍😎😎
That stinks that you haven’t been able to get out. Hopefully soon the conditions will change and you’ll be able to get out! If you end up over this way message me.

nice, picking mine up tomorrow also in white
Alright, that’s exciting news. Did you get the SE or one like mine? I sure like the look of the wheels the SE comes with.

The views on a clear day are amazing. The ride down the other side is cool, into Sawmill Canyon. Nice!!
We had a great time. We started down the other side but ended up running out of time
Well Aaron, I like it when us viewers can often see the gauge display while you're traveling down the trail.
I need to shake up the different angles more to add variety. Thanks for the feedback.
What a great video. I just love Idaho. Places like this are like church to me.
I hear you brother, nothing better than being out and spending time in this country.
Love your videos. Gorgeous scenery. What kind of mittens do you wear?

Yeah we figured that out last year. At least you can still get up top. Agreed there are some fantastic views
Is this the same Gilmore summit off of hwy 28. Between mud lake and leadore.
You nailed it! Fun place to ride.
Pretty sure that door originated from the titanic 😉
I knew it looked familiar!!😂😂
Do they make a front bumper for the new KQ yet?
I believe they do because they sell one the call the rugged package that comes with front and rear bumpers
Ya, I have one on mine
Yep. I have the front and rear on mine. I had to wait a few month for the rear one since I got mine back in 2019 when they just changed it.
ua-cam.com/video/CgBTuHkfrwY/v-deo.html
You can see em both on mine here. I think moose also makes a set for the KQ
Who's the manufacturer of the bumpers. Is there a choice?
Nice area. Where did you buy the mirror ?
I got it at sportsman’s warehouse a few years ago. It’s the ATV TEK Clearview.
You can find the carbon fiber looking ones online too.
where on hwy 28 does this trail start?
Just before Gilmore summit
Yes getting out and exploring on the atv is the best , i prefer the atv over the sxs not that it would not be nice to have both haha
