Beautiful Atv's and terrain. I have a 2023 Suzuki Kingquad 500 and I love it. Only have 555 km on it so far. I usually bring a little Makita electric saw with me just incase I come across windfalls on the trails. Awesome video!

Nice video and great trail, lots of rocks and love that long wooden boardwalk someone took a lot of time building that. We always bring a chainsaw with us for all those down trees

Thanks John! Those little bridges are one of my favorite parts of the trail. I also have always liked the more technical parts of the rides. A chainsaw would definitely be the way to go b

Riding these trails on the quads looks like a blast. If I was planning on doing camping I would build a trailer same width as the quad same tires and the axle same distance as the quads front to rear axels. Use it as my chuck box camp gear and battery storage so I can run my cpap machine. I would also figure out a roof top tent setup for it that wouldn’t be to long or wide for the trailer

I don't worry too much about black bears unless you come across a sow with cubs. In my part of Idaho we get a few Grizzlies. Those I worry about! The tiny bears (squirrels) are the biggest pain! I need to explore the Copper Basin more! Great videos!

Wow, fantastic scenery and trails here! Those are my kind of trails!
I know how space is always at a premium, doing these types of trips... but a good saw is a must. But it looks like you managed to squeeze past the fallen timbers well. I've been pondering, picking up a battery-operated chainsaw. Cut down on weight, etc.
Wicked capture on the trout jump near the end. What a beautiful place to set up camp and do some fishing!
    Thanks for sharing.
    Cheers.

Thanks for the feedback. It’s something we look forward to every year. Agree on the chainsaw, just have to figure out how to manage it. We ended up having to winch a big one out of the way. I’ve been slow to get our second video out that shows some of that but hope to soon.

@aaronkelley7448 Ah, yes, winching works too. Done that!
I picked up a Fiskars pruning/Pull Saw. I forgot the size, I think it's 10"? Anyway, it is a similar concept to a "Silky Saw" but half the price. It actually works relatively well and a little more compact than a chainsaw.
I'm looking forward to checking out some of your other videos. I loved the trails here.

Awesome man! We left Upstate South Carolina late July, and hauled our bikes out to my buddy Forrest place in Fairfield. Left his place and camped near Smoky Bar Store and rode 7 days in the Sawtooths. Two TW200s and a Honda Trail 125. After day 7 we turned north and went really close here to these lakes. A great reason to come back! We rode all the way to Wallace on dirt and then back down. 15 days in the Idaho backcountry. Would love to bring the wheelers out next time so the family can come. Thanks for taking us along! Got some good video of our trip over on the channel if you want to check it out. Love those high altitude lakes!

Thanks for watching! I do like the 2.0s that I’ve got on mine. It just seems to me that the originals are even tougher with deeper tread. The only drawback is the extra weight. The originals are definitely heavier and draw down the power slightly turning the extra weight
