Found your video on switching to LED lights for your king quad. I was wondering if you used the same bulb for the top pod light. The headlights have a high and low beam. Does your pod use the same bulb with high and low beam. The pod doesn’t have a high and low switch. Just curious thanks for the info on how to change it.
Mine is all stock. I bought it new and haven’t done anything with the fuel system. I haven’t ever tried a tuner. I’ve been pleased with the stock performance.

Have you noticed the bike "dieseling" after you put these in? I got the same set as you guys and now if my rad fan is running, when i turn the key off itll stay idling for a second or 2. I noticed late one night that the headlights will flash on very dim when the key is turned off and i wonder if something is shunted to the lights when turned off and the leds kinda screw with it?
Just did this mod thanks to you guys. Went well but my pod had different wiring stuffed in there so it was hard to get the boot on and off. Good mod to do, well worth it.

Should have done it earlier. Real easy and worth it. There are other light brands out there too that should work.

Good info , im thinking about throwing a light bar on my Grizzly i have one on the other quad i run storage boxes up front so it blocks the pod light

I was told that the reason Yamaha did the halogen light on top is that it cuts through dust better then led. And that’s from a Yamaha dealer.
I have heard the same thing recently. I guess that makes sense.
Can I go with something more brighter or does it have to be those specific lightbulbs without melting wires or anything like that?

Yes we used the same bulb for all three lights and they’re working great. Definitely worth it!

I think that you saw the controller for the heated grips. At 5:18 on the left side is what I’m referring to.
depin the headlight plug and move the power to the other open hole for a free 3rd aux light high beam mod

No, neither of ours have done anything like your describing. Sounds weird for sure.

I can’t say that I’ve had the fan kick on when I had the lights on. I wonder if mine will do the same if the conditions are all the same?

I don’t know for sure but think they would work. The process would be different too for the pod.
