Well, the N64 was actually the console that had me finally switch sides to a competitor (Sony’s PlayStation has 10 times more worthy titles.) That said, the N64’s best are truly incredible, from Mario to Conker. Paper Mario, in fact, is one of my favorite RPGs.

Perhaps the Kazoa were ancient spirits and over time, they took a more faith based worship and when Andros came to the Dinosaur Planet he used that faith to his own twisted agenda to revive parts of his own body.

I like to believe the monster in the well isn't a danger at all, it's just a god of the after life asking for Tribute In exchange for benfits like talking to dead friends and family. I also imagine Krystal's staff is an Ancient artifact. From Dinosaur planet, which is why there's power up spots for it.

Originally the shop was under the WarpStone, so that explains their connection. My thoughts about the staff are that the magic caves teach Fox how to use it.

I loved starfox adventures,but for whatever reason when I was a kid,things scared me in the game that's not in scary WTF XD sometimes I wonder what went through my head back then and somehow I got stuck on finding the white grubtub fungus when I was a kid =.=

I have always loved this game, people saying it's a bad game just say it because they ecpect Starfox to be ONE thing and one thing only, so if it's not an arcade shooter, they think it's bad.

Theory: The pizza comes from Pizza Planet from Toy Story. Though in Toy Story it is a company on Earth, I believe there is indeed a planet in Star Fox called "Pizza Planet"

Awesome video as usual, Jiggy! It has been ages since I last played this game and I remember liking it well enough. The game did feel fairly rushed, but I think that was due to Rare having to move the Dinosaur Planet N64 prototype over to the GameCube and replace the characters with the Star Fox characters. I honestly thought the final boss reveal with Andross was a bit silly. I would have loved an actual General Scales boss fight as there were so few boss fights in the game! It would be pretty great to see a remastered version of this game on modern hardware with updated mechanics and a lot of the cut content back. I don't think I ever noticed the pizza boxes in the background when I was younger, but that is pretty amusing! Maybe they just had R.O.B. 64 pick up the pizzas and added the cost to General Pepper's bill? 😅

I may have an idea, for maybe a future video related to Star Fox Adventure or Dinosaur Planet. Maybe you can create your own dinosaur tribes, name them and might even give them a potential role in this game.

The mystery I found most interesting was how Andross might be tricking Fox into believing he's helping the sprites and the planet. Also very well done on putting this video together bro. I enjoyed going down memory lane again with this game. Keep up the good work :).

One of the biggest mysteries in this game has always been the inclusion of mammoths as dinosaurs. Mammoths appeared long after dinosaurs went extinct, so categorizing them together is puzzling. It seems the game developers wanted a prehistoric creature suited to snowy environments. Perhaps they opted for mammoths because, although some dinosaurs like Pachyrhinosaurus and Troodon were later discovered to be warm-blooded and capable of surviving in cold climates, mammoths were a more recognizable choice for players.

I find myself repeating this quite a bit because i feel so strongly about it, but Diddy kong racing is without question the far superior game, i find it difficult to find a single thing about MK64 that I prefer and find it difficult to understand the reasoning behind someone prefering it over DKR, I can only assume its from a place of nostalgia over anything else, because there really is no contest between the two. DKR is in my top 3 n64 games of all time, MK64 probably isn't even in my Top 20

GameCube is just better. Pepole who say Dreamcast are just nostalgic or love low poly models. The GC model also tones down all the weird face animations making sonic look normal, it it’s just way more appealing to look at. He just plain better.

What about the other characters in the franchise? Many people depict Wolf to be taller compared to Fox when both are probably the same height in most games

I'm probably just an old guy ranting but I was 13 when this game came out and I absolutely loved it and definitely made my 1999 school holidays a great time. At the time I wasn't able to buy many games so I thought that the amount of content was great since I had a lot of time to spend playing and not many options. For it's time it was quite a looker too, honestly compared to first generation Dreamcast games, it looked remarkably well and better than most N64 games. I loved it back in the day and Frankly most people did. The hate this game gets nowadays is a strange and recent fad. I can understand why, for someone playing it for the first time will find the collectibles excessive and all but for it's time it was a lot of value for your money. I haven't checked on it in a lot of years and maybe I won't other than to show it to my youngest kid someday but I totally agree with you @jiggylookback this is still a good game and definitely deserves to be defended

My dad and i love this game his favorite stages are circus park sly troops and cryptic castle. And about the vehicles they also protect you from losing rings as long as they're not broken.

Banjo-tooie was stellar for its time. Slight mistakes were made but everyone forgets what a rough era that was. Easily one of the top 10 for the N64. For me, it was an excellent sequel. You started off with everything, the story picked up right at the end of the other, everything was just more and better. I think the comment you made about how people forget about the childlike wonder. I loved saving the baby dino when I was a kid. It involved a lot of moving pieces and it felt really good solving them all. The same could be said about the other backtracking puzzles. I was rewarded for paying attention and making discoveries on my own and it was awesome. My kids have been played through it, and my son loved the dinosaur puzzle as well. He felt so smart and accomplished for figuring all of it out.
