I had the same problem when I picked heavy armor from chests on Enginer. Fortunately, GW2 has great support, so I wrote a ticket and in two hours I had all 6 armor chests ready again :-)

i have all DLC's in gw2 and this one is the best, i always said that gw2 misses the home, build it yourself thingy, and now they released exactly that, soooo.... in my opinion at the moment, gw2 is the best mmorpg on the market, the most user friendly, non p2w, separated pve with pvp (no one is going to randomly burn your ass while walking in pve) and so on, the best mmorpg

Learning how to parry + fencing weapon has saved me and my team so much. I tend to leave drops and make sure everyone is good before i do for myself lol. When everyone works together ruthless is easy.

I want to see a great axe weapon, we have a sword/greatsword, mace/hammer, longbow/shortbow, wand/staff etc.... why is there no axe/great-axe? i want to use a freaking great axe on my Berserker

Back in my days (I started playing 3 years ago) I watched videos about the griffon and thought that looked really fun. All my guild mates were like - you don't gonna use the griffon eventually anyway. For me, that was much more of a reason to get the griffon first so that I'm able to experience it the way it was originally meant. It took me a while and didn't rush it - but didn't regret doing the griffon first one bit! At some places having the skyscale would habe been a bit easy, I admit that, but with springer and griffon you are fine in most cases. Eventuall I did the skyscale as well and it is indeed useful, but I like my griffon much more and use it whenever I get the opportunity 😄

I really wonder if everyone praising the expansion is still feeling the same. The novelty died very quickly with just two maps, one really good map sure, but the replay-ability of it is very lackluster and if the upcoming patches don't add some longevity this expansion won't feel much better then Soto. Anet really should have released one of the legendary items with the release and not wait.

Considering I spent the last 7 years in a blasted jungle because they needed us to grind particular skills? I just killed Mordremoth yesterday. I hadn't known just how close to the end of Heart of Thorns I really was. Just like Valenwood in ESO, I am done with trees.... And hey! A fellow Charr player! :D

Soto had decent mechanical adds but with it come other problems. Also i think the story has been trash since we killed soo-won.

FYI, you don't need to risk jumping on the buoys at the end of the brazier jumping puzzle. You can just glide all the way there using glide boost.

Nothing can beat that first time experiencing DragonStand in the glory days. It is till this day my favorite meta-event in the whole game. Too bad it's an instantkill with the current powercreep

keeping triple trouble out other meta can fail but u will always find successful or a good try in looking 4 group, but if u randomly go in maps there maybe no attempt, u gotta have to use that looking 4 meta option or prime time

Nice review of your initial experiences with these meta events, but I'd be interested to know what the current state of the game is for new players just getting to all of the old existing meta events, and what the success and participation rates are for those events, now that most veteran players have moved on to newer content. We all know that Tequatl rarely fails these days due to power creep and the popularity of that event which keeps enough players coming to it, at least during the peak hours of game play. Similarly, the Octovine and Chak Gherant events in Heart of Thorns still remain very popular and well populated during peak hours, but what about the rest? Which meta events are failing to succeed due to low participation and what are the chances that new players will be able to find a map instance that has a chance of succeeding for some of the less popular meta events? Is Soo Won getting defeated anymore, or does that meta event mostly fail now that End of Dragons is two expansions in the rear mirror? I'd like your opinion on these thoughts, as I am not currently playing these meta events, but I'm thinking of experiencing all of GW2 again from a new account in the near future, to see what the experience is like for new players.

For the people that feel 250g is too much and not worth it, consider this: - You'll speed up your farming - It allows you to tag events you would not have reached in time otherwise, granting you rewards you would not have gotten with a Skyscale or other mounts - It allows you to catch up to a commander or train - It gives you access to adventures and iirc mastery points - You'll speed up map completion, etc. The Griffon will pay for itself very quickly, although it is not immediately obvious. Time is money and the skyscale is comparatively slow. I am not saying make the Griffon before the Skyscale, but the Griffon is definitely worthwhile. Aside from that the Griffon is a whole lotta fun.

Guild Wars 2's one of the most important rules is to focus your build around Power damage or Condi damage and never to mix it ( 10:20 😱 and 11:14 🤣 ) 1. Sift Signet is the most important thing for Mechanist as it shares your boons with your Mech, it also recalls your mech to you and is the best movement 1200 range blink in the game. 2. Rifle, Hammer, Rocket Turret, Rifle Turret are Power Weapons/Utility. Also Sword is great power weapon but Hammer has CC and Rifle is Range. 3. Your Firearms and Mech traits are Condi Traits and Juggernaut specifically calls for Flamethrower and Thermal Vision requires you to burn enemies every 4 seconds to do more condi damge. 4. Inventions is support trait line. I understand the use of the traits because you have turrets but you would do much more dmg with Explosives traits. 5. Power and Condi builds use same Trait lines Firearms and Explosives. Heal builds use Alchemy and Inventions. 6. We don't know if you run Berserker, Vipers or Celestial Stats on the background? Has huge difference on your build. Celestial would make most sense because how much you mix here. Stop here if you don't want any help I'm gonna give you an open world PvE build 👍 And this is just to give you chance to not read it. For open World I would recommend the full celestial open world Condi build: Spear (weapon) + Full Celestial (all stats) + Trapper Runes (condi stats) + Geomancy and Earth sigils (condi damage) Utility Healing Turret (double click to use) + Sift Signet + Superconducting Signet + Elixir U (Self Boons!) + Overclock Signet Traits Firearms 2-2-3 / Explosives 3-1-2 / Mech 2-2-1 this is gonna give you some great boons my friend. Set Commands on Auto-Cast This build generated Alacrity and Self Qucikenss which makes the open world super fun on this build. It wont kill as fast but is durable as heck. You can run Heal Signet instead of Turret if you don't want to double click it constantly. You can also use Pistols if you want Range on this build tough they don't cleave well and you lose the Burning. Also about utility: Grenade Kit is used in both condi and power builds. Bomb Kit is Condi kit. Elixir Gun is used mainly on support skills but sword power build uses it for some reason. Flamethrower Kit is used in condi builds as third kit set. Med Kit is for healers. Rocket Turrret is best turret for Mechanist while Rifle Turret is better for Scrapper and Holosmith while Flamethrower Turret is used in Condi Builds, Supply Drop can be used for CC and additional turrest! and Healing Turret is used by some. I prefer AED and Heal Signet as well Med Kit. Sift Signet shares boons, recalls your mech when used and is 1200 blink. In open world your build should self boon like Elixir U and Sift Signet shares them. Force Signet is Power Trait and never used for its Knock Back. Superconducting Signet is Condi Trait which is used for its damage and the DPS build uses J-Drive which keeps the passive on even when used! Barrier Signet is for healers giving Barrier and Projectile Block and giving Barrier gives Alac on Heal Mech. Heal Signet is solid. You can set Command on Auto-Cast Throw Mine is CC and Boon Rip as well good Power DPS skill, almost as good as Power Kits. Personal Battering Ram almost never used is good CC and Knock Back. Rocket Boots is mobility ... I use it for Skip or when I travel long distance in no mount zones.
