I don't think Wendell had a "terrible" season. His rebounding was way down which needs to be better no doubt but, his dip in offense is pretty easily explained by lower usage as other guys got more shots. His eFG% was career best actually. Next year I want to see him embrace the "dirty work" role on this team and be more aggressive rebounding. When you're averaging 25 mins a game there's no excuse to go hard. Still our best option at center. Isaac can only play C against "small ball" lineups. He's too light in the ass to set strong screens

I dont see hornets giving up Lamelo Ball but that would be the best pickup for us. Plus we get a healthy Rob Williams

Wendell is an undersized center, he’s not very athletic, he’s not a very good rim protector, he doesn’t seem to be a good fit next to Paolo and Franz in my opinion because he’s not a true center, he’s more like a Power Forward at his size, but we already have Paolo playing that position, so him and Paolo together just doesn’t seem to fit well in my opinion. He’s also not much of a lob threat, he’s not a great rebounder, and he’s not much of an enforcer. He’s not a bad 3pt shooter for his size, and he can give you a couple of good plays on the interior in a game, but overall in my opinion for the Magic truly to compete on the highest level we need an upgrade at Starting Center, I would like to see more height, more athleticism, more rebounding, and definitely more rim protection, at our Center position. That’s just to name a few of the things that I’d like to see improve at the center position. I think we definitely need an upgrade at Center to compete at the highest level.

Great show as usual Fil. All 3 should have played the entire summer league. Magic pulled them as usual but these guys need to play these games. When will they ever get a chance to play during crunch time? It’s summer league but they want to win. During the season they will only get garbage time at the end of games. They need to show the magic how they perform at crunch time. Another opportunity lost. Again.

The Franz debate is crazy. What were you gonna do, NOT pay your 2nd best player who hasn't reached his peak yet? NBA new media deal = $76 Billion over the next 11yrs, Paolo will get paid and it is Suggs who needs to prove himself. Fans struggle to label him a 1 or a 2, he struggled hard his first 2 seasons, finally took a step forward. Was that a fluke? Let Suggs prove he can be consistent again, then pay him.

I'll always have a soft spot for Markelle. He came to Orlando after being a 19yo getting treated disgustingly in Philly. Even with the unfortunate injuries, he's NEVER quit on himself or the team. He's 26, and I truly hope he moves forward and shines like the flashes of brilliance we've seen his game have. I think he'd be a great fit in San Antonio with Wemby and a Coach like Pop

I miss Kelle already... and I still think he's the best ball handler and guy with the best vision on this team... but I like the signing. I'd rather seen Gary Harris gone.
