I agree with your PG take. One thing I will say about adding basically only him, is that it maybe clears a path for clear bench roles for AB and Jett. A second unit of AB, Cole, Jett, JI, Mo, could be really fun. Deeper depth with Caleb, the 18th pick, maybe a Jalen Smith type could be added to play 3rd center?
He would’ve left if he was getting positive feedback he just didn’t wanna be left out in the cold since the kings were talking about Levine. These teams play games with each other to try to keep their people as exactly what happened this time.
Buddy Heild is not a better option than KCP. Heild was basically out of the 76ers rotation. KCP would have most certainly been on the floor. KCP is a tough gritty player who’s won championships. He’s hit big shots in those games. Heild hasn’t been anywhere near an NBA finals let alone as a starter.
Phil, I definitely respect this channel, but I'm going to respectfully disagree with you on the Gary Harris statement. I feel the Magic gave Gary Harris plenty of opportunities to take open shots. He seemed a bit gun shy, and there were numerous times where he deferred instead of taking the wide open three.
I agree the Magic need an upgrade on Gary Harris for that fifth starter role. My point with Harris has always been for the Magic's "volume shooter" he is taking 4.1 3FGA per game. I always viewed Harris' shot volume as a product of the Magic's offense working. So when he doesn't get shots that means the ball isn't moving well. The fact Harris is so one-dimensional is part of the problem. But so is the fact the Magic are a low-pass team overall.
It is very obvious that Monk was getting negative feedback. The magic lost out on perfect fit. Now you’re gonna be stuck with an over the hill shooter who has a bad locker room presence. Best of luck going forward.
Your ideas for FA are unrealistic. There are no players worth those contracts available. No way I'm paying KCP 25 mil just to have a big contract. Wtf?
That's kind of the direction the league is going. Overpay on short-term deals that you can get in and out of quickly. I think Monk, Klay and even Paul George are struggling to find long-term deals.
All know is... if we don't show Banchero a commitment to winning, he'll follow the path of all former Magic superstars.
Every fan base needs guys like this one! He keeps u engaged!
Klay Thompson or PG is a win. Signing neither is a L.

JI needs to start.
They have to make trades, they have the draft capital and Wendell Carter.
Malik was never leaving us 💜

Community and friendship was more important to him
Orlando needs to jump on Anfernee Simons. He checks the boxes with their needs. Young, Shooter..

The Magic can use their cap space for a trade to get the shooting they need. Doesn't have to be used on a FA.
But there is the other problem... who are the Magic trading? They really only want to offer Carter and Cole. But the market wants Isaac and Suggs.
Magic have a lot of picks, to entice teams to take Carter or Cole instead.
@@LockedOnMagic What do you even base this comment on? The Magic don't release info, so this is rumor or speculation.

can we heavily frontload a contract for paul george? it could help ease the pain of paying him when its time to pay the players we have.

Please quit picking your nose on the air. It is distracting. Leave your nose alone!
