Not denying rim protection is needed but as of right now Wendell Carter Jr. Is the starting Center, Hartenstein cost almost $30 million to come off the bench and then not fill a starting position with KCP as the 2 guard. KCP plays D, hits 3's, spreads the floor and knows what it takes to win. Orlando's front office made the right decision, there is still cap space to spend and the front office knows what they're doing
They probably valued KCP more and didn't want to risk losing him to another team when it was a 50-50 chance we would've signed Hartenstein. He got paid and is now on a team that's fairly close to contending for a championship. We brought back Goga and Gary Harris! Orlando needs to bring back Mo Wagner and continue to work on Isaac's extension. Orlando got this man!!

I’d go after Deuce McBride from the Knicks. A value contract; he’s another incredible defender for his size . Could guard 1-3 and lights out shooter 41% from 3 86% from the stripe. Super athletic. Still young (just turned 23 y/o I think) and offensively could play point guard-small forward. Ik knicks don’t want to let him go kept him out of the Bridges deal, but maybe we dangle Goga ?

KCP is a good two way player but he is not what the Magic need. The Magic is one of the worst scoring team in the NBA they need another offensive player that can create attack and shoot. KCP average 10pts a game he will not help much. I feel like the FO failed to get Banchero the help he needed
If you're only looking at the stats then you're right. But if you watch the games, we already have 2 playmakers in franz and paolo, potentially 3 if next season suggs is also given the playmaking duties. We don't need 4 playmakers at the same time. Our offense relies on motion and backdoor cuts. Thats why we need shooters to surround paolo and help him have space to operate. Getting pg will help but in the long run kcp would help paolo, franz, and suggs better than pg will ever be
Perfect addition. Plenty of playoff experience. Good defender. Good scorer. Can shoot. Love the addition

I have a feeling the magic floated this same 3/$66m contract to Monk but it wasn’t enough to lure him away from the kings. Overpay for KCP.
