In the books, Effie isn't as big of a character. They expanded her role in the movies because Elizabeth Banks played it so well that her character became too beloved for the screenwriters to be consistent with the books.

I decided to save this video until Christmas Eve to help me get in the spirit, and so i can have some Jack and Dan for the holidays. This movie is way better than it has any right to be. I was pleasantly surprised when i watched it the first time. Happy holidays, boys! May your lives be filled with all the joy and love it can hold.

Katniss doesn't have a 'primary love interest'...she doesn't have any love interest. She's just trying to live her life. The only reason anyone thinks Katniss has a love interest, is because there are two guys who have feelings for her. Her feelings regarding romance are unfortunately irrelevant. Her focus revolves around survival...yet a large portion of the audience regard her story as a 'who will she choose' love story. Unlike with the Twilight series, which is based on a main character whose ONLY concern is being with a guy...the whole 'Team Gale vs Team Peeta' is extremely reductive. SHE is the main character and yet, the feelings of two secondary GUY characters completely hijacked the perception of these stories for so many people.

The channel 'Cinema Therapy' reacts to these movies and explain how well these movies capture emotional trauma.

I've seen this movie easily 20+ times since there arent that many scary christmas movies that are actually good. I've as a resut seen A TON of ending theories or "definitive" explanations. And without question...Jack and Dan presenting the theory that the whole time Omi was in fact a secret Child Bride to Krampus is my favorite...so much so it' just my official head canon now... "

I think y’all read one comment that said Gale isn’t a love interest and stuck with it. The movies are obviously pushing a love triangle, and Katniss and Gale have a familiarity as he’s protected her family and goes hunting with her and such. However Katniss did start having genuine feelings for Peeta during the second Hunger Games. At this point she doesn’t know what she wants romantically and doesn’t even have the luxury to think about it. She cares for Gale and Peeta, but she’s starting to develop feelings of genuine love for Peeta at this point.

What makes Krampus more creepy is when you realize that inanimate mask is on purpose. He is canonically wearing a Santa mask. That's not his real face.
