On this episode of Searching for History, Erin and I are driving through the Navajo Nation on our way to Moab, Utah. When we reach Kayenta, Arizona we have a choice of taking the shorter route by staying on Arizona Highway 160 and taking Highway 191 North to Moab or taking the slower route, Highway 163 through Monument Valley.
