It seems like the ID is not doing their job as most of the issues highlited should be address by an ID before renovation. There should be construction detail drawings with all the mne and built in with joint finish detailing.

This vid appeared on my feeds and glad to have found it. I like the practical and no-hype, lack of over-used terms for a change. Wonder why an "ID" rather than a solid contractor to project manage was involved in the first place as HDB does not allow structural changes so scope would not require interior architecture services. The home owners have such a good eye for design and novice solutions around common problems, they could have worked excellently with a good contractor to save being frustrated with an ID that was less innovative than them.
