Hello! Aha, keep trying and consider priority schemes too😄 We had no luck with the ordinary queue numbers for many launches

cant believe hdb positioned your shower mixer right beside the door hinge. For owners without any glass partition, that door will either rot or rust for sure in a few years

Omg I literally worked nearby here. Clementi Mrt take bus 285 and 78 leads to your BTO. Working here for 2 years already. So much good food places but need some walking to do. Near west coast park too.

@@thesuakus There's Kinobe japanese fusion don at Clementi West, Blk 727 Clementi West, recommend the salmon mentaiko! Chicken chop friend rice(must add chilli) from Mr Egg fried rice - 721 clementi west street 2. Island Penang Kitchen @ 721 Clementi West Street 2 have laksa and nice white fish. West Coast Food Centre i always ate the cheap economic beehoon with porridge and chicken chop cutlet and veges for 5$ plus. 710 Clementi West Street 2 Gourmet Street kopitiam have nice xiao wan mian, with the boiling fire at $5. uncle very nice, trust us to put money in the metal bowl.

If u want to be adventurous and love soup. there's a shop "Traditional Healthy Soup" @54 Teban Gardens Rd that has really nice olive rice and lotus root soup or buddha jumps over the wall with actual abalone inside. :) but need to take bus
Congrats on your nice house in a good location! Nice unblocked and commanding view, however, is the traffic noise from the AYE and the West sun of any concern?

Thank you so much 😇 Aha actually not too bad, the traffic sounds are like white noise now.. or maybe we are desensitised to sounds cos of the Clavon condo construction and renovation around us. West sun can be a little unforgiving but trade-off with beautiful sunsets 😁 Probably use some window films and curtains to manage the heat!

We are in the midst of choosing flats for May 2023 Farrer Parks Arena. Have a similar facing direction like urs but instead of windows facing NE its now NW! Can imagine tilting the entire unit 90 deg to the left

Nice house and 3D drawing! How much were you quoted for the house and which ID? Roughly to get a sensing for 4 room reno. :)
Thank you so much! We spoke to about 8 ID firms and received quotations ranging 40-70k (excluding electricals). If you have quite alot of carpentry and tiling works like us, then those will bump the price up. However, keeping HDB vinyl flooring and tiles etc will give you alot of savings.

If u replace the honeycomb in the toilet with acrylic, wouldn't there will be condensation forming up on the inside after you shower.
Aha possibly for very hot baths... many trade-offs but we think the existing version seems harder to maintain 😆
Just sharing since I did the same 6 years ago. No condensation issue for me till now.

Hello! You need to log in your HDB portal and under Application Status you can raise a request through an online form
09:14, I would strongly prefer and recommend window grilles. I get uncomfortable looking out like that.
Ahah we eventually did not have grilles in our house because we are planning to have insect screens installed, which could also double up as a deterrent to protect doggos from climbing and jumping out!
Hello! May I check if you and your hubby is married at the point of bto application? Or you just have to ROM before key collection?
Hello! At point of BTO application, flat selection, downpayment, etc. we were still dating :p All you need to ensure is a valid marriage when you collect keys!
@@thesuakus I see.. so dating couples can also apply under the Multi Generation Priority Scheme (MGPS)? 😅
@@jasminechua5903 Yes! Most definitely :) Both you and parents (either) will get an additional queue number for the joint application, alongside each of your public queue numbers. But remember, it comes as a set and neither can back out or both will be forfeited.
How come ur kitchen looks different from the bto layout
Hello! In what way different? 😆 Maybe you are referring to the open or closed concept kitchen which are available as options at flat selection? We chose the open concept kitchen which does not have an extra wall

Ahah MGPS queue number 1 only 😉 we tried many launches before Clementi but were always given queue number 800-1000.

@@thesuakus so the top floor units were not among the pool of flats for you to choose from? Would you choose the top floor if you could?
Aha ya the top floor was not offered for the MGPS pool! There are alot of pros and cons for top floor but would definitely take it if the particular stack we wanted is available. Our stack has unblocked views and most corridor privacy ;)
