Just wanted to say, it's always kind of a relief to get to your channel after being elsewhere as your narration over the top is such a direct and concise way to let peeps know the info, it works so well, definitely a great way to do art videos rather than talking while doing the demo. Your set up is working 10 outa 10, just thut I'd say! Mind U some tutors have got their chat while doing their demo, down pat, and it works well, but just wanted to say how polished yourchannel is looking Jackie! I'm a new subscriber and you've become a fav for.me lol!! Great work as always btw!!

I would never tell you where to stop as a viewer. Heart is so subjective and so personal. Just because I would’ve done more or less doesn’t matter. It’s your peace that you are creating. It is your art. You get the same as when it is finished and I respect that. Even if I would’ve done some thing else. And if I would’ve done some thing else, then I need to get my fanny in gear and create! That is my two cents worth from Tennessee.

Great advice, Jackie. I just had a gelli session a few days ago and got a few prints. Then, everything started sticking to the plate. The wet strength tissue tore, wouldn't come up, so I put the whole thing in warm soapy water. I got a little paint and tissue up with a wet paper towel, a little more with mineral oil, but what really worked was Goo Gone. I figured the plate needed conditioning anyway as it has been a while. I will try your texturing to get the plate going again as I never considered this as part of the process.

Such a helpful video! Very timely for me since I just got a gel plate to explore. Also bought a roll of medical exam paper because I love playing with transparency - thanks to your great advice!
