I am camp 'turtles no romance' bc I think they should leave shipping to the professionals (fandom) and focus on giving audiences proper characters with good dynamics to our boys. I won't lie and say I am not biased against canon romance for most media I consume with exception but that's just me uncomfortable with the way characters I like warp in the face of romance or the stuff I actually care about seemingly grinding to a halt so we can waste time on awkward convos/behavior. Its funny bc my fav characters are girls in love, I'm a shipper and shoujo is my fav genre of anime lol

I didn’t watch season 7 of 911 but I love that they finally got Buck to be queer I thought about it for a while felt like he’s living a secret now finally he can be himself…… Also in the crossover episode I thought he related to TK and was a little jealous that TK lives as his authentic self he wanted that Just my opinion I do get the whole Buddie shipping thing but I’m also happy they portraying such a close friendship You can have best friends and not want them romantically

YES! I started watching after Buck came out, but I had seen clips for years, on TikTok and UA-cam. Honestly, I was already bias because I knew where Buck's story would eventually go, but he was always queer coded, as you showed in this video. With Eddie, I assume with his storyline, Buck is bisexual while Eddie is gay. Eddie grew up in a conservative Latino household. His parents are religious and told him all throughout growing up what it means to be a "man" and he threw himself into his work (military). He met his high school sweetheart who was more his bestie and they inadvertently had sex (which Eddie was unsure about) and he just accepted his heteronormative life. His wife ends up getting pregnant with Christopher. He becomes more distant and volunteers himself to go to war multiple times, just to escape his straight life. This causes problems in his marriage and they separate into the storyline that we know. Eddie has some relationships, but he's never fulfilled because obviously, he's gay, but he doesn't realize it yet because he wants to recreate what he had with his dead ex-wife. He lost himself when he was with her, which was his heteronormative identity. Losing his wife was a loss of what he believed to be true. Hopefully soon, he recognizes himself and his true self and finally falls for Buck and realizes who his true soul mate really is.

That one scene where they were in the room and he was threatening styles, you know how guys do that weird thing where they get in your face intimidate you? Well that’s what Derek did and ever since then people have made those two a ship and it became really toxic and twisted and weird. There is nothing to suggest that they are gay for each other at all. Absolutely none. It’s even creepy. Stiles is underage and Derek is in his 20s. Someone commented on Peter’s speech about love but he was literally talking about Lydia and Jackson and that scene played over a Stydia scene (power of human love = Stiles getting suddenly good at lacrosse after being encouraged by Lydia, lol they even looked at each other in slomo). Dylan and Tyler have good chemistry (I think they were one of the closest cast members back in the day) and Sterek scenes are fun to watch for comedy value but I don’t see any indicator of it being romantic, at all. Okay so I just started watching Teen Wolf and i already knew about all the Derek and Stiles stuff but so far I'm on the second half of season 3 and I don't get why people ship Derek and Stiles they havr like no interactions and their relationship like Draco/Harry where they hate each other but have enough interactions to justify the gay shipping but what they have isn't the love hate that make couples its literally a mutual dislike with practically no interactions. I get fangirls need something to you and ship but why those two if anything I'd see Scott/Stiles or more than Derek/Stiles. Like I don't understand.

They barely show us any moments with Tommy so I cannot actually like the couple already, I really thought they were gonna put him with Eddie

I started the show way before it ended, i mean like 4 years since the movie release and never had contact with the ship before At first i really dislike it, for the whole controversial reason, but for every episode of the show and interactions with the fandom it ended up growing on me, like yeah its wrong, if that ever happened in real life would be wrong, but i kinda get it why people ship it, i dont actively ship them, i never were lot into shipping, but they are indeed funny to watch together and they easily became my two favorite characters of the show, and even tho a finish it already and a lot of the hyper fixation weared off... I still think a lot of this two because i genuinely like them Also i heard a lot of people ship them because stiles is so easily relatable and anywone with two working eyes can see derek it's fine as wine so they do it like a self insert thing where they view themselves as stiles and date the hot emo bad boy with a lot of unresolved trauma But yeah its fine as a ship, weird and problematic yeah, but its fun and at the end of the day its harmless... Peter and stiles tho It still hunts me that it exist... Why? Like genuinely why?

While I definitely think there’s interesting things to analyze with this ship, I think a big part that you’re missing is that A Lot of sterek shippers were never under the illusion that they could ever be canon, we knew they had extremely limited content and overall interactions but like they had a really interesting dynamic and shipping is supposed to be Fun!!! The fun lies in the fanfics and the fanfedits and fan theories etc. As for the age difference, while I can definitely identify it as problematic now, I think myself and a majority of people that shipped sterek were ourselves teenagers at the time and we didn’t fully understand those aspects of the relationship, this happened not just with queer ships I mean look at PLL

I think it's safe to say that Raph x Mona Lisa (2012) is my favourite romance in all of TMNT. (Mind you, I haven't read the IDW comics yet). They're great for each other, it's actually healthy and they are just so adorable together.

Not even during the mutant Apocalypse April and Karai are dead and we get no information about what happened between them and their turtle and the boys don't even mention them And mikey is the worst one He neither mentions Renet and Shinigami at all and we are given no information about that The point is if you're going to tease something, dont skimp out on it. Like, i didn't care if they all ended up single because shit happens but at least show us what happened and why otherwise don't even bother with romantic teases! Especially in raph and mona's case. Im sorry im still mad she wasn't in mutant Apocalypse

I too don't care for Tarlos and Rob Lowe definitely ruining the show. Austin is our tiny (but growing!) blue dot in a sea of red. Season 1 was sooo painful to watch as an Austinite, even not including the orange filter, the 'this is set in Texas!!!' Goes way too hard for a show set in an urban area like Austin. Season 2 is better about it with less 'this guy is stuck under his tractor!' emergencies but idr any emergencies in the hill country or more broadly for hikers, which considering how much green space we have is so unlikely. I know both shows play a little fast an loose with zoning for firehouses but the 127 is in downtown Austin so I alway expect the emergencies to reflect that and that's not always the case

I think the writers had no idea what to do with April in TMNT 2012. They gave her NO personality. She was strangely angry and mission-oriented for the latter half of the series, which is strange given that she had the least amount of combat training. She mostly served as a plot device. It would've made WAY more sense if they made her more science minded rather than trying to convince us she was a ninja.

I just watched all 60 episodes in less than 5 days due to being sick so don't expect me to have a single critical thought in my brain. What I can tell you is that I started watching because of the tarlos storyline I'd followed online, and while I like them on the show I grew attached to the rest of the cast super quickly. They all deserve more screen time TT. Biggest surprise was Grace in general and her relationship with Judd. I tend to not relate to characters with a focus on religion a lot, but these two are just relationship goals.

23:39 Watching this scene reminded me EXACTLY of how PB treated Finn after he lost his crush on her in Adventure Time. Finn has a crush on PB for a while in the first season. (I think, I haven't watched it in a while but I know this scene) Until he met Flame Princess, at which they had a decent relationship with each other. Once Finn started losing interest in Bubblegum, she attempted to manipulate him into staying with her, even though she played qith his feelings while he had a crush on her.
