Why are you in a truck on Christmas?

@primeinc is not a trucking company that you can have a “career” at. It’s a truck driving school to get your class a license. That’s it. You won’t get rich @primeinc. They rip off their drivers. Period. Get your license there and bounce. The lease completion “bonus” is not a bonus. It’s your own money set aside which doesn’t even collect interest during your lease. Be a company driver for a couple years there then go to fedex or ups or Walmart. Companies that actually care about their drivers and not brainwash them with newly built buildings.

Im in Cincinatti where my mom is and my wife drove up from Florida, here since tuesday, heading out Friday morning . Been out since Nov 16th. So maybe 5 more weeks then home to Palm Beach end of January. I will be out for like 2 1/2 months except these 3 days. Good luck to all u truckers out there doing it man. It gets lonely sometimes

Brother I dont know it all but its been a while on this trucking Bussiness I believe you already got some experience running your own business,when it comes to leasing you will never win now you did learn and got your experience and if you really passionate and trucking fits your lifestyle save up and buy your own truck then lease under some company authority and take it from there this lease payments charges and not having the freedom on picking up your own loads for better rates even on a bad market aint it.Keep focus don’t listen to the haters and keep trucking be safe out there

A lot of people trust prime too much and they don't double check their words. I can assure you that they will punish you with heavy payments any time they get an opportunity. Always call and go over everything. If i even see a random 100$ charge. Im going to be on the phone with someone getting my 100$ back. I need every penny.

Good you got some money back But that's messed up how they try to milk more money out of you

They throw the book at you if you don't complete the lease. completed my 3yr lease had 16k in completion and 2k in tires acount and they paid out 14500 after everything... They paid out 12500 the following week and then gave me another 2k for things that were warranty a week later also you get shop discount also if you complete.. Was really dumb for you to end your when you had a yr left probably had like 9k plus tire money.

I had an alignment done two weeks before I turned mine in under warranty - all four leaf spring bushings had to be replaced - then two weeks later they charged me for another alignment saying it was out of alignment. They also charge you for things and never fix or replace items. So, word to the wise, be there for the complete turn-in process if at all possible.

They didn’t get this big by being generous!

Reminds me of when I turned in my truck after only 3 months and I took pictures of everything before I turned it in and they hit me with invoice for 7,500 for damage. But when I submitted the pictures of everything they say was damaged the day before they did their inspection that number magically changed to 1,500.

That's why if you can afford to go to either lone mountain truck sales and leasing to get a really good truck or any outside dealership or leasing company to get your truck cause prime or any mega carrier will over charge and inflate the recon charges and the weekly lease charges are insane and that's why leasing isn't worth it run away get a outside financing or outside lease truck and then lease on to prime that way you can take your truck with you if you decide to leave prime

When you take loads under 2bucks a mile your hurting everybody bro! If you can't get $2 at least then sit there! 2bucks a mile ain't even enough if you pay for break downs tires and upkeep! Fuel alone it's ok but it will not give you any cushion for savings. In the long run your screwing yourself. These brokers take 40percent of the money with no overhead so they leave you with fuel money. That's bs. I have seen shipers paying 2500 for the load and brokers give the trucker 800. Mainly cause the trucker will work as long as something is coming in so they take it. Who cares east coast west coast doesn't matter dont hall cheap freight! Help us fight these crooks! Thanks!

I had a camera in my truck and didn't really like it, but lived with it. One morning at 2AM I was involved in an accident that wasn't my fault. A 4 wheeler driver passed me driviñg pretty fast drifted off the freeway hit a wall lost control then headed in the wrong direction came toward me and hit me head on. It was a real bad accident. I told the cops that I had a camera. That camera cleared of everything. It caught me yawning just before the car hit the wall. They saw me making all the right moves to attempt to avoid the car without hitting other cars. That camera saved my butt. I was cleared of any wrong doing .The Mack truck I was driving was totaled. The driver in the car didn't make it.

Safety call me when i had a phone cup holder and my music stopped. I had to look down 3 times. I dont give a damn about that camera, my music prevents me from hearing that shit. I put my phone on the vent by the geotab. I have a good offer to leave. Ill see when i go home at the end of january which will be just past 6 months i been working with prime

Maybe u don't have bad driving habits but those that do it will change how they drive or else, that is the other purpose of those cameras.

I'll never drive for a company that requires driver facing cameras especially since I own my own truck and I already have a great camera system(falcon eye 8 camera system) installed on my truck

A piece of black electrical tape over the driver facing camera lens will fix that problem or just take a picture of you driving then print it out and put it in front of the driver facing camera and when they look at the camera all they will see is that picture of you driving and will not actually see you

You should be hauling freight instead of shaking hands playing vidio games shoting pool if your fine with minus payday and slide your fith wheel back your truck will ride like a smooth dream truck you want be so tired
