It’s not up to the driver. You’re lucky that you got to deliver early. Most customers won’t let you deliver early. Most drivers run hard. That’s why most drivers are fighting against their 11 or 14. (Which ever clock has less time remaining.)
I partially disagree. It’s not always up to the driver. Like you mentioned, there are customers that will not take you in early. For example, most times I get a walmart load I know I’m likely going to sit. In those situations I factor in how much the load pays per day vs per mile to see if it works for me. Also try to figure out if I can get a reset out of it and when is the best time for it. But there is also drivers that wait until the last minute to move, don’t try to deliver early, do not plan to save their clock… those are the drivers who complain the most in my experience. It is up to every driver to be on top of the handful of things they can control to be as profitable as possible and try to stay ahead.
Try not to stress. Ive been driving since 05 and seen the industry go up and down. It will come back, trust me on that. Oh, and dont listen to these truck drivers and their negative opinions. Misery loves company.
It’s actually around what I was expecting. I was ready to go the whole month without making money. For having been a month off I think it’s alright under the current market.
NO!!!! don’t do it !!! You want to be a business owner ? Why you want to go and run under someone’s authority and slave yourself ???? Why you want to others tell you how much you are worth ? Why you want to be dependent on a bigger business. Why you want to work for someone else without any benefits ? All you are going to do is help Megas CEOs and shareholders to get richer and richer every time you spinning your wheels!!! All you doing is helping those mega corporations to destroy this industry . If that is what you want , then DO IT .
You have a lot of experience so I don’t know that I can suggest much honestly. But I can try to provide some insight based on my experience 😅. What is your end goal? If I can ask.
@@Peruviantrucker I’m not hating dude . But 2100 is what your settlement was for the past three weeks. Simple math from there 21 days @ 100 dollars a day. That’s why I told you prime is a good career for a young teenager looking to make an extra couple bucks for some soda pop and candy snacks. You won’t make a living but hey at least you can ball out at the truckstops.
@@duvasio8956 I know lol. Just keeping the ball rolling. It’s not about simple math. It’s about actions and consequences. I knew my truck payment would not stop. So I took measures to be okay. But regardless. There is a consequence to taking the time off. I am making a great living. But that is because of my personal situation. Could it be better? Sure. But I am happy🤷🏻♂️ Also, I’m 31. But I feel like a teenager😝.
I was $20 in the hole again🫠. But that’s because I only had the one load to claim by Wednesday. Delivered Thursday and the weekend has been a bit slow. But should be able to even both weeks out by Wednesday.
this guy is a volunteer of prime’s scam, but this what prime wants so they can keep getting checks while their drivers struggling, I really hope you are doing good man, but we all know the truth about prime and if I’m wrong post your settlements!

Kool Breese your truck Solar power your never include Fuel !!on all this Money
700 a week is 100 dollars a day which is 8 dollars an hour on a 12 hour work day. I guess that's pretty good considering the current market.
$700 a week?! Thats baaaad. $700 a day is where you wanna be.
@@Peruviantrucker You might be grossing 700 a day but after fuel and truck payment you're left with 100
@@duvasio8956 nah man, I end up at -$200. Get bailed out daily😉
