Prime drivers need to be careful if they are leasing a truck. Might be a set up to terminate all drivers leasing trucks if they are close to completing the contract. It’s a good strategy from Prime Safety Department to terminate lease drivers and get all the trucks back, to then lease it out again to restart the Lease Contract to others.
Thank God I left my awesome company as they were routing me in to uncover the cam I always had.we always had them covered but after 2 years the time came when they wanted it uncovered.
I'm company was total a holes with camera but when drivers was quiting and new driver would interview they ask about and no joke the interview person was like f that get up and leave 😊prime won't get any new drivers and old school drivers will leave
Prime inc is done!!!go to swift bro they had cameras but took them out...if you quit then it will apply pressure to prime inc to remove cameras but as long as you guys keep driving down the road with the cameras then dont complain bc prime thinks your compliant
Safety call me when i had a phone cup holder and my music stopped. I had to look down 3 times. I dont give a damn about that camera, my music prevents me from hearing that shit. I put my phone on the vent by the geotab. I have a good offer to leave. Ill see when i go home at the end of january which will be just past 6 months i been working with prime
A piece of black electrical tape over the driver facing camera lens will fix that problem or just take a picture of you driving then print it out and put it in front of the driver facing camera and when they look at the camera all they will see is that picture of you driving and will not actually see you
I drive for a reefer company based in Texas that offers 10k for every driver you refer. With your subscription base, this could be beneficial for you. There is no cap on how many drivers you refer so the skys the limit. If you're interested, let me know and ill shoot you the details. Also I'm real, currently in New Jersey, they are experiencing their own version of the movie Independence Day with all the drones flying around.
That camera is not that bad so far look in your clip at how many times you took your eyes off the road and the two times you looked down. Also the safe distance thing is incorrect i run 62 out here and have been behind trucks as they accelerate past me and the only alert i have recieved was for one excessive yawn dont get me wrong that one pissed me off but you guys on youtube are making it out to be so bad and its really not.
Unbelievable!!! “Is not so bad “ you got to be f kn kidding. This is the attitude drivers have been taking for too long , that is the reason we are in this situation. RULES AND REGULATIONS only protect , companies , corporations, insurance companies and everyone else BUT DRIVERS . You guys with your sheep mentality is killing this MF industry. Unbelievable!!!!
Just can’t be a truck driver anymore with that thing recording you all the time while you drive , it’s over kill for good drivers, you can’t yawn, fart or look down anymore without a video recording, ding distraction driver become a robot instead 🫡

The Don was here 💪🏽
I'm ok with cameras but not in my face.

I have run red lights to avoid setting off the spycam for a hard braking incident.
But the camera know you pass in red is same trouble
So much for so called independent contractors.

I disagree with you.I would not drive with the camera in my face.

Get out of the industry then. It’s simple. If you don’t like something, move on.
Someday you’ll gain enough experience to not need to be babysat by a camera.
Inward Facing Cameras, is the biggest distraction in the Trucking Industry. It’s more distracting than cell phones.
The fact you said "it's not that bad" says it's bad LMAO
