Wow there is alot of over inflated jacked up charges that should not be there like they say they just go looking for things to replace and over charge you for you should have went through and checked everything inside and out and tightened up anything that was loose and took pics of the other things so you could counterand come back with proof that the said item or items were not damaged or torn so you can't be charged because they untighten it so they can retighten it and then charge you for it
@@jamesgibbons2469 Over inflated is a stretch. Everybody inflates prices like that. If you lease a car you will go through the same thing. Just in a smaller scale.
Reminds me of when I turned in my truck after only 3 months and I took pictures of everything before I turned it in and they hit me with invoice for 7,500 for damage. But when I submitted the pictures of everything they say was damaged the day before they did their inspection that number magically changed to 1,500.
Yeah, I was surprised of how quickly I got reimbursed some of the stuff. And I don’t mean the speed. I mean how easy it was once I got to the right person. They count on people just taking it. Not looking into it. Honestly I would’ve been one of those people if it wasn’t because I thought it would be good for a video. Not the best mindset 🤦🏻♂️
I had an alignment done two weeks before I turned mine in under warranty - all four leaf spring bushings had to be replaced - then two weeks later they charged me for another alignment saying it was out of alignment. They also charge you for things and never fix or replace items. So, word to the wise, be there for the complete turn-in process if at all possible.
That's why if you can afford to go to either lone mountain truck sales and leasing to get a really good truck or any outside dealership or leasing company to get your truck cause prime or any mega carrier will over charge and inflate the recon charges and the weekly lease charges are insane and that's why leasing isn't worth it run away get a outside financing or outside lease truck and then lease on to prime that way you can take your truck with you if you decide to leave prime
i mean if u knew anything except what others say on tha internet. at lone mountain if u need to put 5k down on a trucc with 400k miles u also need to have 5k in tha bank before they even think about leasing too u. good credit or not. ive nvr worked at prime or will but they tha only company u can legit order a trucc n half ass spec it to what u want with 0 down from tha dealership. all im sayin is. dont comment on videos actin like u know sumn. also lone mountain n all them other used fleet sales dealers are litteraly like buy here pay here car dealers. if ur not gon fo through a company get ya self bout 60k get a cash trucc n have 30-40k to get it road ready or have ya credit im order n get tha bank to finance u so u can buy from any dealer
Brother I dont know it all but its been a while on this trucking Bussiness I believe you already got some experience running your own business, when it comes to leasing you will never win now you did learn and got your experience and if you really passionate and trucking fits your lifestyle save up and buy your own truck then lease under some company authority and take it from there this lease payments charges and not having the freedom on picking up your own loads for better rates even on a bad market aint it.Keep focus don’t listen to the haters and keep trucking be safe out there
They throw the book at you if you don't complete the lease. completed my 3yr lease had 16k in completion and 2k in tires acount and they paid out 14500 after everything... They paid out 12500 the following week and then gave me another 2k for things that were warranty a week later also you get shop discount also if you complete.. Was really dumb for you to end your when you had a yr left probably had like 9k plus tire money.
@@TruckingWithSteffon objectively I think money is being burned/wasted when you are able to go lease purchase but continue to lease. But everyone has a different situation, goals, objectives, fears, etc. Myself included… I have burned a looooot of money in my life. At least through Prime and Leasing I will have something to show for 😬🫠.

@@ml3truckinginc..816 you can leave when you reach the half way point in your lease purchase. But you have to pay the difference.
@ Oh ok thanks

Entertainment trucking is the way to go. Just saying
Good you got some money back
But that's messed up how they try to milk more money out of you
I was on the other side of it when I was working at the dealership. So I guess it made it easier to digest😅
2k for a days worth of walking and talking is pretty good. Lol
Yeah. Honestly. Plus I got to meet with friends while being there. Which means I inevitably spent some money... But who’s counting😜.

Dang! You did really well! But no, I still think you should walk away from your lease asap.
@Peruviantrucker yeah like the minimum that its required to order a new truck but literally wasted a lot of money

Agreed. Can’t fault them for it🤷🏻♂️
