Coleman 533. Finally it's large frying pan compatible. Cook safely with confidence.
Переглядів 1,8 тис.Рік тому
The Coleman 533 dual-fuel stove is a great product and it's been our go-to camping stove for years. The 533 has two major cons, one is its challenging simmer control and the other is its inability to play well with frying pans or larger pots. We had a few workarounds but thanks to Amazon we've found a quality and compact trivet solution that gives the 533 a lightweight stable frying pan size base.

      Marcus wow what can I say. It works by magic and all the other comments seem to get that. This is UA-cam, not the Supreme Court, so proof is only optional. The generator consumes 8ml of fuel per minute (eco throttle), so how long do you suggest i film that bottle slowing emptying at 8ml per minute in order to satisfy your curiosity. Id recommend you dont use this method, the magic works only when you truly believe. You should subscribe to Mythbusters, youll be happier there. 👌

    • @Vagare

      Hey Dan, not ideal to run 2 x 240v smart chargers on the same battery, the charge profiles would need to identical. I have to reset my Enerdrive 60A charger's output to 40A in order to use my 1kVA Honda genset. I think from memory the Enerdrive charger requires 1050W set to 60A and 700W set to 40A

  • @ouroborosirvington

    Here's one for you. I've just installed my first VSR split relay. Before I charged bat for about half an hour every day straight off the 12v dc output and noticed with a very good battery the voltage would go up into the 16's and settle at 12.9. A good battery, or good enough may go up to 13.2 and settle at say 12.5, which is good enough right. Now, with the split charger wired in the voltage read across the top of the bat with the 12v dc hammering in has dropped to 13.3 which is exactly the regulation specification for the split charger.... but.... in reverse, I mean I'm charging the leasure battery that is wired to the starter but charging it just by connecting the genny 12v dc, so the current may be going through the VSR but not coming through it. So wtf's the magic of that? How can the split charger maintain the cross voltage at 13.3 when the dc is plugged straight on the bat?

    Hi, I have a 2.2kw petrol generator the instructions say i need to ground it, would i need to ground it charging a battery using a battery charger from the 240 outlet or if i was using an extension lead to power a device such as a domestic fridge or a microwave ? Thanks in advance.

      Hey Richard. Most folk (me included) either dont know or dont care about the risks of not having a proper earth. Some folk install RVD device to compliment the van's RCD. Youll find that most generators have an earth terminal which you can connect to a metal stake belted into the ground.

    Great video. Many thanks. I have three way dometic came with the van. I like the silence but so slow to cool and gives up when hot. My question is my fridge compartment condenser never gets icy. Freezer does get icy. It’s two door. Is that a fault in your experience?? Many thanks. Ps I leave it on 240 all the time in my shed so still doesn’t get icy.

    • @Vagare
      @Vagare 9 місяців тому

      Icing freezer is typical. Before it gets too bad do a quick de-ice. Last thing in the day quickly take everything out of the freezer, put a towel in there, smash it with a hair dryer, mop up as much water as possible and load it back up and leave it closed to recover. Should only 5 or so minutes and it will recover relatively quickly, especially if you do do it just before bed.

    i did it! And it was delicious, buuut, while camping, I forgot how long the bread was supposed to bake... and I didn't want to disturb the coals carefully set on the curved Dutch oven lid, so I let it bake for an hour. I should have checked, and now I know better, and am trying again a second time. The first result was a lovely fluffy bread, with what was probably once a nice crunchy crust, but because of the extra cook time, there was an even quarter inch of black char all around the loaf's crust. We ate up the insides, and that was good. Lol. This second attempt looks much better- it's cooling now :)
