    Are your legal benefits insurance based or not????? I left uscca because their legal benefits are insurance based, and not good. Having an actual attorney available for my defense is the only way to go. Can you say this is what your organization does 100 percent.

      We are NOT insurance based, our 4 Million+ legal defense fund is entirely under our control. YOU choose your attorney. More information here: armedcitizensnetwork.org/learn

      @@armedcitizenslegaldefensen4041 Thank you for your response and information. I look forward reviewing it further. What I have read so far does concern me. It is mentioned a couple of times and ways about the incident being lawful. What strikes me is the jurisdiction which hypothetically would be prosecuting the charges have already determined the situation to be unlawful. I would feel much more comfortable with a firearms defense organization which included attorneys in staff who will determine that their client acted in good faith in a self defense shooting and not look to drop him as soon as possible. Again, thank you for your response and I will get back to you once I have completed my consideration.

    Doesn't this violate the Equal Protection Laws? Especially because it only applies to small businesses? Isn't the entire purpose invalid because it you make enough money to actually hide money to do "money laundering", then the corporation doesn't have to file the report to meet this unjust regulation?

    As an AOR member who dropped USCCA to switch, I appreciate you guys making this video. At least you went on the record, to make specifc points to clarify and defend your position. This is in stark contrast to USCCA, who publicly maintains their "innocence", if you will, without directly addressing criticism.

    This is by far the best instructor I've ever been to. Wes's inthusiasm is real. I've taken his CCW course with a friend of mine. I also did his accuracy and speed course with the same friend. He said I could advance to his speed course after he was satisfied at our CCW course, but his class is packed with so much information it was worth the accuracy class first. He walked down the line and worked with each student's grip. In 15-30 minutes the groupings were significant. He used the lesson that he explained here. Where you remove your support hand and he replaces with his. He then pushes into your hand and has you equal the pressure. It is a simple and significant demonstration.

    Prosecutors are going to use everything against you to win. They could say you wanted to kill someone or were looking for a fight because you took multiple training classes, or you modified your gun to make it “more deadly” or you own to many guns, you mist be looking for a fight. A defense attorney is going to use those same things to defend you. He is going to try to convince a jury that you took training classes to be more responsible with a gun. He could argue that you used hand loaded ammunition to insure that you had a round that was more likely to stop the bad guy without hurting bystanders. You used low flash powders to prevent loosing situational awareness and potentially shoot the wrong person. Point is that its a 2 way street. Anything can be used against you, but it also can be used to defend you. Personally i use factory ammo in my guns because im getting the performance I want. But if i thought i could do better by making my own i totally would. Id rather be judged by 12 than carried by six.

    My stress in court was as a juror. Our courthouse jury box held 12. There were 13 of us.(1 alternate) I was the only juror that wore a suit. I sat just to the right of the jury box. To my right was the defense attorney. To his right was the defendant. When the witness was asked to identify the perpetrator, she pointed to me! My first thought was to get up and go home, this isn't worth $11 a day. I didn't do anything but the wave of emotion was significant. I was just identified as a felon by this woman. It probably didn't help she was deaf and there was no interpreter. The defense attorney loved it of course.

    Having been introduced to Marty and ACLDN from the show "self defense" many years ago I reviewed the membership offered by ACLDN and compared to others which are insurance. What I like is ACLDN offers assistance in leu of a "legal" self-defense shooting for us law abiding citizens and not insurance who represent illegal situations. I also found the legal shooting experts on the board of ACLDN which is very impressive and another reason I chose ACLDN for my wife and I. Mr. Victor is playing old questionable marketing blame game with scare tactics to grow his own plan which, by the way is not insurance as cited on his website. Who would want to be represented by a marketer like that. We're ACLDN members and proud to be.

    I get what this guy is saying about talking to the police but it’s not going to end well. It won’t end well because they are trained to ask the same question in different ways after giving a statement in order to make you doubt yourself so they can get that used against you. While it’s fine to give a brief overview, keep it at that by invoking your rights after you do that so that they at least know what they are working with. Don’t be trying to point out evidence or witnesses because in your state of mind you can’t remember anything well. If you have to be in jail for a few days that’s fine because that’s much better than doing life in prison if things don’t go in your favor. This guy is saying that it will always end in no charges or end in acquittal but that’s simply not true because there are people who are in prison who acted in legitimate self defense all because of the way the jury voted. While I think it’s a good idea to give a brief statement, it’s definitely a bad idea to go beyond that because whatever else you say is locked in and your attorney will have a more difficult time explaining your situation to a judge.

    I have not seen Marc's video and I'm not intending to respond in that regard per se, but this did make me realize that an important distinction between a prepaid legal service and the ACLDN is that an attorney serving a client is OBLIGATED to represent that client whether they committed a crime or not, and that is not what the ACLDN is for. One might say it's not unlike having a vehicle service done every 5,000 miles compared to putting gas in the car; they're related but not at all the same things.

    • @AshGreen359
      @AshGreen359 Місяць тому

      AOR isn't the same as prepaid legal. Prepaid legal involves a middle man whereas with AOR you are dealing directly with the law firm themselves. The AOR program also won't cover you for committing a crime under their program, however they will still defend you for a 35% discount if you are a member.

    When we did DFI moot court at FAS in 2015, my most vivid memory was how the Platonically-ideal "friendly jury" composed entirely of long-time gun owners, veteran concealed-carriers and experienced firearms/CCW instructors, who had literally just completed nearly 40 hours of intensive education in deadly-force law, reviewed the facts of the case presented before them...and deadlocked. That should put to rest any remaining fantasies of trusting in an automatic acquittal by a "jury of your peers," when literally the best possible jury in the world can still deadlock, or even convict you...

    • @dtcdtc8328
      @dtcdtc8328 2 місяці тому

      Yeah, getting a jury of your peers is a pipe dream as they say, in this day and age. What's even sadder is how Prosecutors care more about convicting & punishing self defenders while rewarding habitual violent criminals.

    There is no way to get around that there is a third party entity that will make the call on whether THEY think your incident was "justifiable self-defense". AOR's contract says YOU (the client) has to say that it was self-defense. Plus, you advise to talk to the police to tell them why you feared for your life, no legitimate criminal defense attorney would say that is good advice. Guys, I am sure that everyone there is good folks but it just seems dated.

    • @georgeunk6762
      @georgeunk6762 2 місяці тому

      There is ample support from various experts, having different perspectives on telling the police, via 911 that there was a shooting & you were the victim reporting it. Then when the initial responding police officers arrive, making mention that you are the victim, pointing out evidence, then seeking medical help yourself, while both cooperating later & even signing a formal complaint against the bad guy(s). No one should give any other details or make additional statements until one speaks with an attorney.

      When Marc reviewed USCCA, CCW safe, and the other competitors. Its was I'm glad your exposing those insurance companies. When he reviews ACLDN with the same way and energy he did with all the other companies, its now an issue and tearing someone down? He puts it out on all his videos that he has a bias and promotes his own program in all his review videos. There will be people who will have an issue with that but he's upfront about it. The company that took the biggest hit from Marc review and another self defense attorney criticisms, is USCCA.
