Mr. Farnam is a wonderful man, very, very knowledgeable. I’ve taken his basic handgun class and his Armed Response to a Terrorist Attack course. Both courses were great training. I’ll take more in the future.
The ACLDN has the best training videos I have seen. I joined ACLDNin January and was impressed with the training videos I have ever viewed and I’ve seen a number of videos produced by others! Keep up the excellent videos!!!!!!!
I'm luck my pre-carry lifestyle was a very close parallel to today. Honest and responsible is not a bad way to roll. Luckily I was also never a high end beer drinker so zero% alcohol beer suits me just fine.
KILLING MACHINES? A new gun owner does not need to be told that their new gun is just a KILLING MACHINE. Horrible. I have over 200 guns in my collection and NOT ONE OF THEM is a KILLING MACHINE. My car could just as easily be called a KILLING MACHINE. I suggest you re-shoot this video.
Why would this Idiot use the term a firearm is a "Killing Machine?" I am a certified NRA firearms instructor and I totally disagree with Mr. Farnam! You are opening up a can of worms for the Anti Gun Movement and give them the ammunition to take away our 2nd Amendment. Firearms are tools no different than a pneumatic nail gun period. A car, truck. hammer, knife, pencil, screw driver etc are all "Killing Machines" behind the mentally ill person who has the intention to do harm! You should enforce the point of proper self defense training and proper training on the correct use of a firearm. The only safety on any firearm is the "Trigger Finger." Remember that most people I train today is for self defense, but some train because they want to hunt, target shoot, or get into firearm competitions. Yes, the majority of my classes are self defense for what is now an increase of crime and defund the police around the country. With that said, I train for safety, proper firearm operation, local and state gun laws, self defense carry, live fire training, and much more. I never tell my students that a firearm is to be used as a "Killing Machine." You should never go looking for trouble, alway's evade and escape a violent situation when ever possible, and your firearm is the last resort option if no means of escape! Remember that the criminal has more legal rights than the legal gun owner.
