Todd Howard confirmed in an interview that Shady Sandy's blew up shortly after the events of New Vegas. The chalkboard wasn't very clear to many people, myself included, but the last arrow pointing at the explosion was meant to show time had passed. They should have just put a year under it like all of the other events to be honest.
I loved nearly everything about the show. I agree with all of your observations. I thought they did a great job. But there was one thing that bothered me. The abandoned cars laying around did not look like fusion cars. They mostly looked like regular cars from the 50s. There was one red fusion car in a prewar scene at the birthday party I think.
This show blew my expectations away especially after the TV adaptation of Halo This show also managed to get my partner into fallout which is a huge W (up next a whole play through of fallout 4 aha) Honestly can’t wait for S2!
It is an absolute triumph in my opinion. I can’t help feeling that it was designed by real lovers of the game there is so much attention to detail everywhere. I watched the entire series one day non stop, utterly binging on it. I hope the next series will be out this summer but don’t know what the time scale is.
I think the body under the sheet was a Super-Mutant. I'm not positive, but i think the Enclave was involved in the creation of the Super-Mutants, so it would make sense if they're still experimenting on them. Absolutely loved the show.
