Your rebuilding of Sanctuary videos have been awesome to watch, inspired me to try out your methods and work on my version of rebuilding Sanctuary. I usually only focus on character builds, shifting to settlement building has been a nice change of pace for me. Keep up the good work dude, can't wait to see the final tour of it all. :)
Usually when I built settlements I had over a hundred mods dedicated to doing it. I usually only did settlement building saves never actually played the game/main story most of the time. However overtime it kind of got repetitive and boring and I don't really like using mods and wished I could do all of this stuff in vanilla but it felt almost necessary to install mods for building, scrap, decor, etc. Now after watching a few of your videos it inspired me to consider playing vanilla while building settlements too. Well earned sub from me!
When you showed how to increase build budget by dropping all your guns and storing them that's genius I'm so glad Bethesda never fixes any of these useful bugs
You need to be careful though, the more you bypass the cap the more unstable the settlement becomes; your frame rate can take a hit. Sanctuary, Red Rocket, and Abernathy Farm are particularly tricky because the game tries to render all three settlements at once.
That security post on the corner of the house is a stroke of genius. Ive never thought to use the pillar glitch that way! I am definitely using the rounded metal doorway it looks almost like a post apocalyptic Hobbit hole! Congrats on the success of the channel. The rapid growth is a testament to your original design ideas and to the enduring love the community has for the Fallout franchise. I wish we had had build mode in Fallout 3, I made a few mods for that game but building wasn’t really a thing except for interior cells!
I didn’t know that this was possible! I’m still struggling to get just regular pieces to snap together and here you are merging an entire roof onto a building😂
I no longer have a computer or a gaming console to play fallout on but your videos are helping scratch that itch. I can't wait to play it again and try some of the things I've learned from your channel
11:55 If you decide to rug or pillar some crops into the tub make sure their fruits are showing before moving them. If you move them before the fruits grow they can cause ghost plants to appear. Interacting with a ghost plant often leads to a game crash.
ive been mucking around with rug glitching and only just learned about that pillar glitch through this video, cant wait to see you upgrade more houses in sanctuary and even other settlements
Found these videos tonight and have binged every single episode cant wait to see the end tour, and hopefully, you continue to build throughout the commonwealth!
I am a brand new player (brought in from watching the show) and this is so informational! I'm gonna have to watch the rest of your vids to fix up Sanctuary. If I can combat the horrible motion sickness I get while playing.
In just a few hours this video has more views than your very early ones in a year. I'm so happy for you, your content is fantastic and your channel is going great!!
I had no ideia about the post glitch where you can change the height. Thanks! You've made it very clear how to do it. Hopefully I'll be able to restore the roofs I want in Sanctuary. Thank you for this. Amazing video.
Love it when you give the name of the DLC as well as the asset group name - it automatically lets me know if I have those items or not already, and which ones to get in the next sale. So many other content creators claim no mods, but then I can't find their assets in the DLCs I already have, and it makes me wonder if they are actually using mods.
holy crap, played this game since release and only found out from you about the benefits of the pillar glitch and the storing guns for lower settlement size? actual god send.
Good video. Its entertainig to watch your creativity. An other usefull glitch is the campfire glitch. When you place a pillar in a Campfire, the game belives the pillar stands on ground and you can pillar glitch nearly anywere.
I love this one ! the mix between factory roof and scaffolding boards works really well and you have done a really good job with that bit that sticks up. I subbed last time already but this is really cool keep it up :)
New subscriber here, I love what you did with the roof, never seen that before. I’m definitely gonna try that. Looking forward to seeing your other videos. Keep up the good work!
You can get the roofs to snap to the floor. On the second floor tile in, snap on a warehouse half wall, and then snap a slanted roof wall to that. Swap out the half floors to set up two floor tiles in back to reverse the process... not that you aren't brilliant with your finesse using the rug and pillar glitches.
Good morning sir! Thank you so much for this videos, this are going to be mi inspiration to repair the village, last time i tried to do without a guide i did a completly mess, have a nice day!! 😊
Norespawns would recommend using the shack upper floors because it blocks more light, and then layering a simple shack floor above it, so I’m gonna try merging both of these together to fix this roof perfectly.
@shawzzo the bird sounds in the background of your video were also the same as some bird outside my house could hear, had me tripped the f out pausing the video and trying to figure I wasn't going crazy or losing my hearing 😆
Can’t wait for the next video copied every single house 👊🏽 a few times I couldn’t copy it 100% due to a few bugs of placing items but I’m happy with how it lucks cheers bro
Watching these vids while i wait for my mod downloads... And i just noticed this one. The settlers got the most beautiful housing, BUT no food or water
For you wanting to put some sign on the roof gap, maybe one of the many billboards or nuke world info boards or something like could go right above it, I just remember they're technically a ground decoration and might look nice there
good sir you must take responsibility because of you i will restarting my game. and spent the next hours fixing houses in sanctuary! 😂. no, thank you sir you give me so much inspiration.❤️
I've been trying all these builds, i really like the box car roof and the curved metal wall roof. Im doing this one at the moment and I'm having problems with the pillar glitch on the side of the house. It just doesn't want to turn green to place it. Any tips on how to get the walls in?
I don't know if anyone's mentioned it. But if you want to lower the building limit faster use items with more detail the more pixels the item contains the faster it'll go down the item that I use looks like a circuit board (I don't remember the name right now)
You might have some sanctuary mods on that would cause issues. If you do have mods on then disable them and see if it fixes it. If not then I’m not sure sorry.
Im so glad I dropped you a sub watching you build and the ideas you have is amazing. Also ounces your done with sanctuary will you other places like red rocket and the castles?
Did this stop working after nextgen update? Or am i mentally impaired? It won't let me bypass any collision at all. Normal rug glitch still works fine though.
Did they fix the pillar glitch? I cant get it to move high enough to fit in the holes on the side. Either way, awesome build!!! Great ideas, definitely subbing❤
i know alot of new players ask is, how do you have enough to build all this stuff. well Sanctuary is a fairly big settlement, but you will eventually run of wood and steel and concrete. so you just have to play the game, grab more junk, that's how it works. now Sanctuary gives you to work with, since alot of the broken down unrepaired homes give you lots of materials, but the thing is if you want to fix up most of the houses that can be repaired, then be careful having supply lines running from here. plus a supply line from another workshop only goes so far, some things you still have to put in another workbench.
I might have said something earlier But the Contraptions DLC is no longer its broken been broken after update. meaning most of the stuff in it has no photos or material list and some show Look Failed !!! has even affect the work bench showing same thing and if you click on it you stuck had to log out of game to get out of bench.
The rug one doesn’t work for me, and the pillar one doesn’t move the top pillar or the build, idk if I’m doing it wrong or something but this is just broken for me. Xbox
You might have some sanctuary mods on that would cause issues. If you do have mods on then disable them and see if it fixes it. If not then I’m not sure sorry.
Back in the day used to watch Norespawns videos, glad seeing fallout 4 settlement building getting some love again.
Shawzzo's vids do have that nostalgic norespawns feel to them.

@@Shawzzo loving this serious but I must be stupid or something I can not figure out the Rug glitch your using do you have a video on it?

When you showed how to increase build budget by dropping all your guns and storing them that's genius I'm so glad Bethesda never fixes any of these useful bugs
If you have any gamma guns hold onto them. They take the biggest bite out of the sizebar.
All objects you drop and store work for this, it doesn't have to be weapons. More complex items (higher poly count) have a bigger effect.
Also works if you scrap them (storing let's you do it over and over so its better)
You need to be careful though, the more you bypass the cap the more unstable the settlement becomes; your frame rate can take a hit. Sanctuary, Red Rocket, and Abernathy Farm are particularly tricky because the game tries to render all three settlements at once.
These repair vids of yours always surprise me! You have real talent! I never thought of using the items you use! Great job, keep up the good work!
Bro you have a gift with explaining things in a way that’s easy to follow and replicate. Leader energy 💪

Love to see this. First building series i've watched and I've already implemented some of the tricks you show off in my new play through.

I love your creativity in patching the roof!
Scrapping the items also works for decreasing the build limit meter. Plus is also means you have a ton of scrap for building.
The only problem with scrapping them is that you can't reuse them to decrease the size even further.
Can't wait to see you fix up other places too, but so far, Sanctuary is super fun.
Found these videos tonight and have binged every single episode cant wait to see the end tour, and hopefully, you continue to build throughout the commonwealth!
Thank you for this playlist! Super inspiring builds! More please, looking forward to the finished Sanctuary Tour!
It's great seeing people still making new content about Fallout 4.
I been wanting to get better at fallout 4 building and your videos help, I know a new thing or 2 from your video so I can't wait for more
love your builds, always had it difficult finding how I want my settlements built, but your suggestions truly sparks ideas, thanks man!

Because it's their game and their rules

Wow, love your builds! Very well thought out
The way I did a double take and checked if I was subbed when you mentioned 5k, like you deserve way more subs than that my dude. Congrats on 5k 🎉🎉🎉

I honestly really prefer the houses with fixed roofs over the ones where you turn the houses into massive cubes. They look so good.

This is great content. You make settlement building sound like an actual trade 😅
You'd definitely be getting paid a livable wage in caps
that helps. Especially because I usually don’t play with mods. I will try what you did here. Thanks 👍🏻
Would there be any way to download this build? These builds are amazing keep up the good work!
good sir you must take responsibility because of you i will restarting my game. and spent the next hours fixing houses in sanctuary! 😂.

Keep up the good videos man. Enjoy seeing these. I'd like to see if you can do a repair video the destroyed house out in county crossing? if possible

Thought I was already subbed but I wasn't so I subbed today! Love you builds and tutorials...
I was wrestling with this house last night and gave up, but this vid is really useful, ta!
One of the tips i saw for clearing build limit is to drop and store heavily modded guns and/or gamma guns
How do you get the rug glitch to work with the stairs? I thought it didn't work with snappable items and it won't seem to work for me
that patched roof looks excellent!
I dont know how you guys figure out how to do these builds. Really crazy skill

Are you using mods for this. Getting the roof right so you can put the small ones on the bottom is tough
For bath plants could you post glitch a garden plot with mutfruit
Will you be doing other settlements? I’m trying to do somerville and would love to get some ideas
Are junk walls installed this way (with gaps) purposely? You can easily build them next to each other using jumping points with rug and pillars
