Does Remote Personal Training Really Work? | Ed from Texas says yes! #personaltrainer #onlinecoach
Meet Ed! All the way from Texas, Ed is 71 with a passion for programming and his physical health and wellness. He has been training with me remotely for the past four months.
A great testament to the possibilities of online coaching and personal training, Ed has gone from strength to strength since starting his journey with us.
Ed is no stranger to fitness. He has run competitively, completed triathlons, and much more over the years. Most recently, he attended group fitness classes.
However, like many, Ed hit a plateau with group fitness classes. While great for social interaction and general movement, these classes lacked the personalized approach and periodized planning needed for progression.
Inspired by the results his partner Dave achieved with us, Ed decided to give it a try. Fast forward four months, and Ed’s dedication and trust in the process have created new habits and lasting changes.
Ed’s knee pain is improving, and his body is moving in ways he previously thought impossible.
We are so grateful Ed put his faith in our coaching, and we look forward to seeing where the next four months take us.

    Some great ideas for breakfast, I make 25 days ahead, oats, with seeds, nuts, fried fruit and add a soy yogurt, it annoys me when people say they don't have time to prep, only takes a few minutes, love the scrambled recipe as well - thanks for the video, thanks for the vest, it arrived today :D

    Always have had a love/hate relationship with the trap bar. Lately, its been love. Nothing I do hits the upper rhomboids and lower traps like the trap bar deadlift. And those are important muscle groups for pressing! Also the quads get hit nicely too - however I disagree on the high handles. Should not really be using them. You’re cheating yourself out of gains. I like the trap bar deadlift on days when I don’t feel like squatting.

      Love a landline row or prone raises to hit the rhomboids. But I do love the full compound lift of a trap bar hitting a bit of everything. I tend to use the trap bar to focus on hinge patterns and hamstrings over quads. The high handles are advantageous if someone is not yet able to achieve the full ROM. We are all built differently and working on different paths. I would consider it cheating on gains if someone was approaching movements that they can’t achieve without good execution.

      I was never a huge mushroom fan either, but Ricky loves them and now I just eat them. Some sautéed peppers would work nicely though... some corn and black beans too! 😋 The possibilities are endless. I look forward to hearing how it goes.

    I really like the thumbnail its super eye catching. I personally cant get my head around tempeh Ive tried it a few times now cooked different ways and I just don't like it. These look so good tho, might be worth a go :)

      Have you tried different brands of Tempeh as well? Some are better than others. Also, if you steam it first it will take away the bitterness.

    they look amazing, have tried the smoked tofu by toffoo it is amazing and life-changing ......... i hate greaters as there so hard to clean x

    Yummy, I like stuffed peppers 🫑 I also often stuff them with tempeh. Great idea to add grated cauliflowers, corn and so many spices 🔥 This must be full of flavour 😋

    I feel like stuffed peppers in such a staple vegan/vegetarian dish, yet it's a dish I've never made! This has inspired me to finally make these :) I love the Applewood cheese, both cold and cooked, it's sooo good!!

      This was my first time having stuffed peppers since going vegan I think? Can’t remember it’s been too long, but will definitely be experimenting with this and having them more often. Possibilities are endless.

      Thank you! We try to make all our recipes simple. There are enough complicated ones out there and a lot of us our too busy to spend hours in the kitchen every day. Tasty meals can be quick though.
