I met hang gliding in August 2021 and received instructions from Steve Wendt, a legend of hang gliding, at Blue Sky Flight Park in Virginia. It’s been a life changing, mind altering experience. I feel like a brand new person since I met this sport. Hope this channel connects me with many wonderful pilots out there and I wish my videos to reach many people who are new to this magical sport.
I’m using shorts to share my aerial silks journey as well. I started taking classes in February 2023 in the dead of winter going insane with no flyable days… silks saved me! It’s been so nice to have something outside of hang gliding because flying is very much weather dependent and requires lots of waiting/patience. I love sharing my silks progress but I’m also hoping it helps to bring more female audience to my channel in general… Hang gliding is not a gender specific activity. It would be so awesome to see more female pilots in this sport. #hanggliding #aerialsilks
