  • Last class I transition to prone position for the first time but only during off-tow flight. In this class I went prone on-tow as well.
Some challenge in pitch(speed) control being not used to handling the glider from the basetube.
Overall I made a good progress. Just waiting for the “you’re clear for the truck tow!” moment.

I'm watching in reverse having already seen your perfect Lookout top to bottom an then you land a pretty good spot landing here or the other one. The thermals you get in the middle of the day are you friend as well as a nuisance. I have flown 43miles across country on a very similar single surface glider to the one you are flying here and it makes some sense to start to develop your skills on an easy handling wing.

    Great videos.
I know in planes you increase pitch before turning to even out the change in the lift vector to maintain altitude.
I don't know what you would do with a hang glider.

Nice flights..a little thermal activity.. its fun. Small thermals lifting one wing up. Try to climb into them..more air time.

Definitely wanna try this. I live in VA close enough to visit Blue Sky.
But I should probably lose some weight first. I'm 250 lbs, and the site states that the upper limit is 240.

Have you contacted Steve yet? Ya in my honesty he might reject you because he might not have a harness that fits you. You are close to being within the weight limit. I hope you try. Hey, this would be an awesome motivation to lose weight, cus then you’ll get to fly and be healthier!!!!!!

It was so much fun to fly with you in this video, and great job on your spot landing!! awesome!!
What's the technique to turn without losing altitude?
Hey, did you know you can switch the gopro to a Japanese setting and you can tell GoPro to stop recording in japanese? I bet that'll work! 😂
