Well done Nano! I love how you include Steve's instructions and coaching. Without looking reach for your hook knife and your parachute. That's a great piece of advice. I haven't done that in a long time. I need to now! Thanks for sharing!

That moment when the lines start to take tension and the glider becomes a flying machine... just beautiful. You know I enjoy that you share your flying with us. I really hope that the next year continues to challenge and reward you. Thank-you.

It is a beautiful thrill! I know this is not a traditional way of hang gliding and I have much to learn on that end(food launching that is) I’m happy I got to learn scooter tow and truck tow launching methods. It’s kind of neat. It is a great way to learn if the person is afraid of height.(fyi, I’m actually afraid of height but not with hang gliding) that gradual altitude increase is such a gentle way to overcome the fear for heights.
Thank you so much for your kind and supportive comment as always☺️

@@nanoraflyz It was good to see the second POV. I was wondering what being towed looked like for you.

You’ve come a long way. Great job!! Your confidence really shows!!
So you want a next level glider? Beginner gliders are a bit mushy but the trade off is, next level gliders can be a bit harder to land, that is, less forgiving.
You are doing great!! Keep it up!!!
    Happy New Year!!
    Sky Out!!

Looking forward to that challenge! Although, I have to keep reminding myself that there is no need to rush. I feel like I’m ready for the next glider but in reality I think I just want “my own glider”, I have to psychoanalyze myself sometimes. Really trying not to let my“want” lead things in flying cos I hear that’s when you could get hurt. If I get one, I should stick with flying at Blue Sky, experience flying in thermic conditions and gain more skills and confidence before venturing out elsewhere to fly.

Hi Nano🙂! Looking good! Happy belated Christmas. Did you get a new glider for Christmas🎁? otherwise maybe you could ask Steve if you can try a slightly more advanced glider? It's so fun and nice to follow your training to become a pilot! Thanks😊. Fly high be happy!

Nah not yet. I don’t have many options in used glider because of my size and buying new glider is expensive but I preferred the later option. Will see! Thank you so much for your support! Happy new year🥳

Keep practicing, unfortunately unlike the (un named ;) type glider I use ,, the only way for you to practice is by flying.( a riskier way to learn)…... new places will be a great way to evolve , expand your skills and see new places , but i would love to see you with a instrument, a variometer , and some light Thermic conditions,,, being able to stay up, is in my opinion, is the best next step,, maybe then flying with others as well … I’m sure you have a great instructor and a new family to help you , keep sharing the Dream, and many new years

I really appreciate your advice. I think you completely changed my mined about my next goal. I think it makes sense for me to practice and learn flying in active condition as the very next thing and experience thermals and try to stay in the air as long as I can. Getting my own glider is something that kind of has to happen. Continue renting adds up and in order for me to fly in active conditions I need a glider like falcon. Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment!

Thank you .. hang gliding is likely a bit more costly to learn and equipment is very cumbersome and also expensive,, ,, all things are relative I guess .. keep up with small steps ,, know your skills,, and move to the next steps as you feel confident.. often but not always,, it’s not the equipment that is the limiting factor,, you should be able to do almost anything with a beginner glider that you could do with a advanced glider.. … hang gliders are not in my skill set so I could be wrong,, … just develop your skills until you feel truly confident….. flying is about feeling, until the mechanism becomes an natural extension of your senses,, your not yet flying.. be patient,, and feel :)

Stick it out with your glider for a while longer. Just make sure its not too big for you.
