Two years into my hang gliding journey

- It’s been a little over two years since I took my first hang gliding class. I made this video for my own reminder, never to get complacent and I need to stay focused and learn well and reflect in every flight.
I also hope this video can be a reminder and an encouragement to all of my viewers that just because you have never done something doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do that something.
Starting something new by following your heart is a great start.

Thank you for letting us follow you on your journey from hatching to a beautiful flying falcon! It's been nice to follow your stubborn grinding during the lessons, and it really paid off! Now you're soaring in the sky and who knows, maybe one day you'll meet the other falcon up there.

Thank you🙏 well, I haven’t experienced soaring yet, that’s my next goal. but not sure if I’m ready. It’s like I want to experience it and don’t want to at the same time. I wish I could be a badass pilot but apparently that’s not my description. I’m skittish🐈
@@nanoraflyz Yeah I had the same worries in the beginning. Did`nt want to leave the safety of the landing field. But learned to take wider and wider turns until I felt I was actually flying on my own😁. And I tried to stay up as long as possible instead af getting down as fast as I could. You`ll get there eventually! Just hang in there😉!
So cool to hear that you’ve been at this for two years! That tells me that you have a dedication to this sport which is rare to come by these days. Come up to Morning Side Flight Park, NH next year and you can learn to properly foot launch and maybe take a local mountain flight, and go to the dunes at Kitty Hawk where you can fly in smooth coastal air. I love this! It has been so great following your journey, and seeing how far you have come. I never knew about the baby falcons that’s so cool!!
I got so attached to them… I remember there were a couple times neither the mom nor the dad returned with food and I got so anxious for them. If I didn’t watch that Falcon cam I wonder what my life would be now. Probably not so exciting.
What a great journey. I still got excited when you released the bar and just kinds flew. You have really shown the process of learning so clearly. I look forward to your videos and am grateful for them. The camera ops quiet 'come on' was perfect.
