Hi Brian, thank you for the updated information. I went by my local Costco after seeing your video. I really wanted to see the size of the Jabra Pro 20 Custom ITC. I have been waiting for a custom in ear version with all the modern features. I was told that, unfortunately, they do not have a sample hearing aid for me to look at. I would need to buy and pay for the set and have impressions made, then wait for my hearing aids to be molded and shipped back. This seems like a crazy process to have to go through, just to see if I even like the look of these hearing aids. I am going to pass for now and see if anything changes as I cannot believe many people will purchase sight unseen. Also, do you have any information on when and if Costco will begin using 3D digital scans instead of the old impressions?

On this type of hearing aides, does the ear act like a natural ear horn? Also, does this hearing aide have a directional focus program? Although the ear itself is directional. By the way, Brian, I love your videos.

Thanks. I was not told this on my first 2 hearing aid sets. I keep learning and just noticed Starkey added a drying box to the cleaning instructions. Yes, just. I read those instructions overcand over when i got them in Oct 23. It was just wipe them off, but i was having so much ear pain . Talked w my audio. Talkd to Starkey. Redid the mold on one. Found .. also too much moisture. I was using the decicant packs, but they don't last long. Switching to a dryer. Is this one ok for rechargeable HAs too? I like the short drying time of this one vs the flow med sitting overvthe charger. Hesitant on the heat feature of the perfect dry.

How do you think these would compare to the Widex which is also made by WS. I have the BiCore and looking for the best aids for playing acoustic guitar.

The Phillips has 24 channels but I have not found how many channels the Jabra 20s have. Can you let me know please. Thank you, Doug

I have phonak hearing aids, when I connect them to my desktop, it pops up multiple options for my hearing aids and the only one that works is stereo audio and sounds weird, any idea why that might be?

Unbox away! We get to see what comes with the hearing aids before we buy. Can’t go wrong with that! I am right on the line where having a hearing aid could be beneficial for me. My issue is getting clarity from voices through a speaker. My ideal hearing aid would be one that sounds like my ear buds.

I just got jabra 20 last week. Would love to see photos . Should I update to new version? I have moderate to severe loss. How much are they? I have RIC and with silicone dome. Please advise

My Jabras custom receiver molds are the same size as that. I may have to try a set. Love my Jabra pro 20s

I returned the 9040 Phillips yesterday because the Costco technicians (exaggeration) didn't know how to set them up. Among other things they refused to set up programs claiming the aids adjusted on their own and didn't need programs.

I have been trying some OTC ITEs (RICs were not comfortable to me) and have found, for me, a level of localization that I did not have with the microphones sitting behind the ear. I also found, again for me, that I prefer the Philips over the Jabra for voice processing. I am glad to hear that Jabra delivered on their next generation for ITE. I hope this forces Philips to follow suit. I am waiting on Philips to announce their next-gen ITE before I pull the trigger. I look forward to your announcement vid. You have been days, if not weeks ahead of my local Costco, in acquiring and disseminating info. Most excellent. Thanks for your content. My local Costco does not recommend Jabra Custom. She won't even order them. She stated she has trouble with them not properly fitting customers. I was curious if you had similar issues?

I tried to order the Rexton Reach at Costco today, they said they have pulled them and aren't selling them right now. What gives? They gave me the Jabra. Also they didn't know if the Rextons would ever have AuraCast I told her if they had LE they would certainly have AuraCast soon as a firmware update. I'll switch to Rexton as soon as they get them, six months to do so. Tried to get the AuraCast transmitter for my TV and was told they don't have them. But you said they do? Are they in the TV section of Costco or does she just don't know what she's talking about?

Brian, Been wearing some Widex hearing aids for 10 years and considering getting new ones, they are the behind the ears RIC type. I know from watching your videos that the Jabara top end hearing aids are highly ranked. Does Costco also sell the premium package like offered on line with 3 year support or warranty? Also, what is your current choice for best Costco hearing aid? I would be more comfortable dealing with a Costco rep than ordering online. Thanks. Phonak needs to up their game, they're really weird looking and volume wise they're actually bigger than their RIC offerings. If you want slim devices get Signia Styletto or the Rexxton's equivalent.

Brian... THANK YOU! For 15 years I have had just the right ear Hearing Aid. That ear was the problem, but aging reduced hearing in both ears more. After 7+ years on my last Rexton, I decided to go back to Costco and learn about the new tech in HA. Then found you on UA-cam as I began researching the 3 options Costco offered. Timing was great as you shared this new Jabra 20. The fitter suggested the Rexton again, as I had enjoyed T-Loop use at Church. But hearing you speak about Jabra 20 and Auracast, the Small size, the App capabilities, the better Noise Reduction... I was sold... and so glad I did. I do not need T-Loop as the Voice sound and noise reduction in church and other large noisy rooms settings works extremely well. In fact I just turned two "old" friends away from $4000+++ hearing aid sales shops to Costco to try this great option. And today they told me they are Costco customers. And after a month things just keep getting better for me. You showed me how to get my fitter to give me the adjustable cone Hear-in-noise option, Create my own custom "Home" Setting (best for hearing the wife at Home), use my Roku TV Phone app to connect to my Jabra. And streaming to my Google Pixel phone works great. After all this and some adjustments during Free follow-up at Costco in Kirkland WA, I am hearing like I did 30 years ago. Thank You for your honest and clear description of all the new options in Hearing Tech!

Visited my Costco in Northern California today. The price shown here and elsewhere online of $1599 was not available. It seems that they have hiked the price by another $50. I thought this product was just recently released. What the heck? Is this more of the same Biden hyper-inflation or is Costco getting a little grabby?

Atom 2 just swauks and squeaks to the point of pain. There doesn’t seem to be any fix. I can’t understand why folks like them. The plain old Atom with the screw and on off have a very short battery life but don’t burn you ears out of your head!

Thanks for the video and close up view for these HA's. Sennheiser has been one of the top manufacturers for headphones, headsets, earbuds for a long while. I hope they are successful in hearing aids. All of us with hearing loss need it because the cost has sucked badly for ages. More competitors from recognizable big players will hopefully help make hearing aids more popular and thus lower cost. What range of hearing loss can these handle as an OTC unit? I am also listening to this video with audio earbuds instead of hearing aids because my standard hearing aids are terrible for music.

Love the content! I’ve had two sets of pro aids for over 4k, and also Eargo, and Audien. The difference between hearing with Eargo and the pro $4k (Starter and Phonak) is minimal. I’ll always go OTC! I’m searching for a new set now, and your videos are giving me outstanding information. Not in love with the proprietary wax guards, it’s just more to buy that’s going to have questionable availability. Close to $1k is way out of my range.

Any idea when or if they would be available in Canada? I’ve got Bernafon and do not like them. These are my first ones and they constantly restart. I’ve got tinnitus bad on my right ear. Going to get new ones soon and looking at some at our Costco.

I'd heard that the issue wasn't with the HAs themselves, but with Costco's testing equipment not set up to be able to configure them correctly. I need these!!

I’m picking up my Jabras today (Thursday). Should I try them both ? The jabra and Rexton Reach before I leave Costco?

I have been using BiCores for three months. It is my first pair of hearing aids. I have had none of the issues you describe. Much to my surprise I have been using them to stream TV from my ROKU TV. I have quite a few instances of sound dropping out, usually one ear or the other. As long as I remember to take my phone with me, they stay connected. I think the problem is between my iPhone and TV. They get reconnected in ten seconds. Not such a big deal. My travel charger lasted four full days. I was driving thirty miles away from my house when I lost sound in one ear. I went into the closest Costco and they cleaned my aids up and gave me a kit for my car. Just great service. I had a visit today and asked about the new Rextons. I was told Costco stopped selling them after two days. Teething issues. Perhaps you could comment on that. Would asking for the new model be an abuse of the return policy? I have three more months left. But really I have no complaints. I have a lot of wax in my ears, so they suggested I have a monthly cleaning of both my ears and hearing aids when I do a regular shop. My custom playing music program has been rock solid too.

I've only had hearing aids for three weeks, but I'm intrigued by the thought of making adjustments myself. I have watched your two videos on programming several times now. I ordered a Noahlink Wireless 2 yesterday and already have the Phonak Target software. I purchased the Phonak L90-RL's, so I would be very interested in seeing you make a programming video using the Phonak Target software. Very nicely done, thanks!
