You been a absolute hero, thankyou, ive tried numerous youtube videos that are totally useless, (and most with very high views) then by chance dropped on to you. I just received my new prescription Phonak hearing aids this week, it's been a nightmare to connect them to my chromebook and laptop. I eventually managed the chromebook with trial and error because i'm not great with technology, but as for the laptop, no chance, till with your help and guidance iv'e finally managed it, so can't thank you enough.👍👍👍👍👍👍 Its a sub and a thumbs up from me regards Kev (UK)
I cannot thank you enough for this video! It was driving me crazy, trying to figure out how to connect my Phonak's. This has opened up a whole new world of accessibility for me! Thank you!
thank you! I have the starkey genesis ai hearing aids and and I thought I was going crazy because I couldn't see them in the bluetooth when trying to pair with my laptop. Now, thanks to you, I know they can't do it.
When you want to learn; "yuz" need Brian, and "The Hearing Club". For he's the best In DIY'rs. Thank you kind Sir; for what you have and are doing. We❤it...keep it up.
I just successfully connected my Rexton BiCore C R-Li T hearing aids to my MacBook Pro. Yes, it requires a Mac with an M1, M2 or M3 processor. It also requires the latest MacOS (14.2 "Sonoma"). It does work exactly the same as the pairing on an iPhone ("Hearing Devices" under the "Accessibility" menu in the System Settings). Thanks for the video!
I agree! I am a l-o-n-g time wearer of hearing aids. I have watched Dr. Cliff for years but it is obvious that, when all is said and done, he is doing his best to steer listeners to the high-dollar sellers, whereas Brian is looking out for the best interests of hearing aid users. Cliff has even recruited those two assistants to say some truly ridiculous things, e.g. one of them claiming that, with her bare eyes she can tell that the casing on less-expensive hearing aids is made of a thinner gauge metal! 🤣
The more I watch your videos, the more thankful I am that my Costco HA guy sold me the K-10s. They connect to any BT device I have. The only down I have with them is that they get confused about charging. Next month they will be going back for factory "repair" so, hopefully, all will be good.
Ok folks hit the 👍up button and subscribe, ring the 🔔 This will help his channel grow. It's takes alot of time / work to put out a video. I have learned alot watching his videos.
new subscriber! Just got my Jabra Enhance Pro hearing aids and unable to connect to my 2020 Macbook Pro or my iPad (9th gen). Was hopeful, but looks like it's not happening, but have still loved your content!
I have the Elehear ones. I wish there was some easy way to switch the bluetooth connection between the phone and PC, since I watch tv on the PC all the time. And my neighbors hate the volume I need them on, especially since I'm a waiter and stay up very late watching. I have to reset them with the button on my charger (while they're in the case) to get them to forget the previous pairing. But it also resets the settings on the aids that I set in the app on my phone. So, I have to reset them and reconnect to the phone to get the settings back every time I want to switch between the two. It would really help if they could be paired with two different machines, like some bluetooth headphones and speakers can be. I guess it's better than those who can't connect to the PC at all. I'm so glad that Elehear didn't go with Apple priority exclusivity! But it's still not exactly easy or convenient.
you are right and this is all still relatively new and with all of the different bluetooth protocols constantly changing and evolving, im sure its hard as a developer to keep up. I'm also sure they are reading these comments so this is the spot to tell them what you want.
Hi, Great work making this video, thank you. I am waiting for you to make a video when you know how to connect FMI HA's to the PC. I have Signia Pure C&G T 71X
Easy access on Bluetooth works both ways... it's also for our protection. Encryption keeps unwanted people from hacking your hearing aids and sending polka music to our ears 24/7.
I get fitted with a set of the ReSound Nexia 621 aids next week. Not sure what to expect with the app and BT connection. I have two phones that I could use, Samsung and Motorola. Thanks for the video!!
Hi. Do you know if the hearing aids have microphone to answer calls ? (Iphone), in Android it appears that it uses the microphone of the phone but I want to know if in iPhone is different. Thanks
Ya they should be compatible, the Jabra enhance pros use the same tv streamer that the Beltone and resound hearing aids use and I would expect this new streamer to be no different. Thank you for clarifying that!
Jabra GN will connect but not recognized as an audio device, just as a BT device. Hopefully there's an update that comes out to allow for PC connection.
I am trying to connect my hearing aids to my laptop, but it does not show up. There are a whole lot of "unknown devices", but Signia does not show up. What can I do? Thanks
I have phonak hearing aids, when I connect them to my desktop, it pops up multiple options for my hearing aids and the only one that works is stereo audio and sounds weird, any idea why that might be?
Trying to follow along with your instructions. Mine keep showing up as "Other devices" rather than Audio or Microphone. How do I solve this? I have the Signia Stretta hearing aids which work with Bluetooth. I can pair them to my phone (a Samsung S10e) very quickly and it works there but not on my Windows 11 laptop. Is there a solution?
thanks for the video, answered a few questions i have, I have signia hearing aids, just got them, so i guess im stuck looking to get the streaming TV box to use them with my TV and or windows PC. Question, is can i use that stream TV box accessory they sell - do i need to constantly unplug it from PC to TV for each use or can i leave it on one of them and use it for both ?>?> or are they gonna gouge me for 2 boxes so i can have PC and TV both connected to them ??? then do i need to turn off one box for the other, i really dont want to play musical stream boxes all day every time i have TV and PC on, i often have both on same time.
You would definitely have to play musical boxes. I’m still trying to get a pair of my own hearing aids with Auracast so I can do more testing and figure stuff out but I’m not sure if Jabra is going to give me a pair. If they do, I’ll have a lot more info for you guys
@@HearingClub looking how windows connects to the Jabra it shows it as a device but not an Audio Device this is why you cannot get the audio. So that would could either be an update to Jabra or Windows possibly both. I'm not sure at this time, I have the latest windows update as well at the latest Jabra update. I have not reached out to either windows or jabra as of yet.
What’s comparable to the beltone amaze?? One of mine just quit and super frustrated if having to go aids shopping. I’m in my mid 30s do labor intensive work and big rig driving with around 60% loss more on higher mhz
haha i dont blame you. The amaze is 3 generations ago. Those are pretty old. After the amaze, they came out with the Imagine. The imagine is the same as costco's old Jabra Enhance PM 8. Then they came out with the beltone achieve. This was the same as costco's Jabra Enhance Pro 10. Now, beltone's newest hearing aid is the Beltone Serene which is the same as costco's newest Jabra Enhance Pro 20. Your only option to get another amaze would be to find something used on ebay. But if you want Beltone's newest hearing aid, go with the Jabra Enhance Pro 20.
Tried doing skype with my friend using my cell phone / hearing aids connected to the phone and I get no volume and cannot hear my friend , but I do hear the end call sound . Makes no sense .
Things like this should actually be extremely illegal this should never been a thing. In this case my 10,000 fuckn hearing aids require $400-800 add ones per TV and or computer just so I can hear things at home. In addition to that in devices out side home I'm fucked I have to hook up this dumb thing that shouldn't exist.
Hi All, i am from india and i need your valuable inputs. i am using "phonak audeo b50-direct" and its 5 years old. is there any way i can connect to windows 10/11 laptop ( even with any supporting device).
@@HearingClub Thanks for your reply. Yes i have tried. mine has Bluetooth and i am using for my android mobile since 6 years ( purchased on Feb, 2018). but for windows its not deducted. i am not using any other external /intermediate devices. as i heard if i can buy Sennheiser USB adapter and ComPilot can connect. same products are not available in india it seems and i think in my case its too expansive for this old hearing Aids. Please suggest the possibilities. Please suggest which Hearing Aid is suggested to buy for this to connect. my known one is suggesting "Philips Hearlink 3030 MNR T R Hearing Aid" But i think this also dont support.
Thanks much! I've been looking for something like this. I just received Signia Pure C&G 71X hearing aids and was able to connect to my M2 Mac Mini Pro successfully. Works great!!!
I am able to connect my Jabra enhance select 200 hearing aids with hp windows 11 pc, using Samsung s10 and audio relay app on both pc and android phone, not able to connect using iPhone 13 mini hope this helps, thanks for the video.
On the Enhance Pro 20's, did you turn off the "optimize MFi connection" under the more tab of the app? I have no idea if that would help or not. Just a thought.
Thanks for the video. I just ordered the Philips 9040 hearing aids from Costco a couple of weeks ago, and will get them in about two weeks. I emailed Philips tech support to find out if it'll work straight with macOS Sonoma, and the response was that it'll require its AudioClip accessory to work with Apple silicon Macs. I am uncertain that the tech has actually tried it out and just deflated to making a potentially unnecessary purchase. If you have any insight on this, I'd love to know. Thanks!
im not sure exactly what macs work but here is the apple website that talks about what chips are compatible. if you have the menu at the end of the video, it should work. support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/use-hearing-devices-with-your-mac-mchle83953a5/mac
@@HearingClub Hey thanks for the reply and the info. Now I know why my current Kirkland 9.0 model does not work. But according to the list of supported devices, the Philips "X040" models should work with my MacBook Pro, which will be so great to use when I'm out and about at my favorite cafes or in class. I still have just over a week and can't wait to actually try out the pair with it. I appreciate the help.
