You Are Obligated To Build an Aesthetic Physique In Your 20's
Переглядів 1989 місяців тому
In this video, I go over why I think everyone (especially men) should focus on building an aesthetic body in their 20's. Throughout the history of humanity, a well formed physique was seen as divine. It's a status symbol. Even our own psychology has biases towards how we perceive others in this regard.

Hi, Drew., my name is Malcolm White, and I just wanted to say that I am such a big fan of your UA-cam educational channel. The contents that you post about are so amazingly spot-on, and also, the value that you add to your video topics are so amazingly spot-on, and also, the value that you add to your video topics are so absolutely incredible, and insightful, as well. Please keep continuing to do this brilliantly motivational channel up, and running, my good friend 💯👍💯👍💯👍💯!!! PS: Do you think that you can please do a video topic, and analysis, about why men should have street smarts in their own lives? If you don't mind?
Is there anything specific you’d want to know about ‘street smarts’? It’s a bit of a loaded topic because street smarts is general knowledge applied to a particular context. So ‘street smarts’ in one domain could be completely irrelevant in another. Or is that more or less what you’re wanting is more of an explanation of that?
Era was the name of the band he recommended?
ERRA, yes
Excellent video! The Black Sabbath/Metal analogy was gold.
Ive experienced this very recently. I had a business that ive been working on for a couple years and i started to lose my passion for it. I had some success with it but not enough to pay the bills. I took a step back from it for a bit and did some soul searching and realized that i cant keep working on this anymore. I have a different business idea i want to pursue instead so im going to let go of this old business and start working on something new
Man these videos on point with what I'm feeling internally. Thanks for covering such difficult subjects.
I’m glad it helps. Wouldn’t be able to if i hadn’t been there (and still am a lot lol)
"When we die all we have is ourselves."
Absolutely amazing video. Wow thanks. Such a rare understanding. You’re literally a child of the cosmos why would anyone downplay that.
Deserves a like brotha! I’m a mixed martial artist. And everything changed when I actually believed in myself more.
I did not expect the video to be good when i clicked on it. I was prepared to listen to stupid advice on how to be some kind of douche, which I then could argue against. But this turned out to be really insightful and I feel that it really resonates with me, also an introvert often downplaying my abilities to myself and others. Taking yourself and your ambitions seriously is really key. When you think you cannot manage do anything, are not worth anything and so on, you will supper and become depressed and also become a worse person in the eyes of others. You should of course not get the kind of ego that looks down on other to make yourself feel better. That is just toxic and unfortunately what many people think about when talking about the ego.
The thing about having an ego is it causes pride and there’s nothing wrong with being proud of the things you’ve done, but when you start comparing your accomplishments to other people’s, it creates this illusion that you’re better than everyone else. And then when you get humbled, it really hurts because you think you’re the top g when you’re just like everyone else. The key is realizing that your human just like everyone else and then you stop putting so much pressure on yourself and everything becomes a little bit easier.
needed this. Thanks brother
Preach! This distinction and nuance gets missed far too often.
Amen. I think there are seasons to life; there are times for humility and letting your ego fracture (so that it may grow more True and Whole again). We often struggle with putting ourselves back together again, because we (society) often unevenly exalt Humility. We have to remember that unwisely holding to a 'humility' can grow to become a cancer (a 'false humility'), and that we need the spirits of Victory and Glory too. "O son of Kunti, either you will be killed on the battlefield and attain the heavenly places, or you will conquer and enjoy the earthly kingdom. Therefore, stand Arjuna and FIGHT!" - Bhagavad Gita 2.37
Homie’s bringin in the Bhagavad Gita here 🤘🏼 love it.
Christ told us to be humble
Not real.
@Clutch-sk1if of course you're not
Couldn’t agree more❤
What part of Idaho are you from? I'm from around sandpoint
Not there yet. Will be next year, Boise area
Today I watched video from Psychacks channell and it's main message was that one way to be a better person is to be more prosperous, because thoughts and prayers won't pay the bills. And the best thing you can do to other people is to solve your own problems. So yeah, being better person in overall requires big ego, not to put other people down, but to rise yourself up.
The problem of ego is the maturity of the ego. Far too many unsuccessful people with huge egos still have the unevolved ego they had as children...they are fully gown toddlers lol. The ego should evolve as your life challenges you. There is room for compassion, passion, and self-worth in the ego.
Spittin bars🤙🏼
I think I needed to hear this. Thank you.
Fight for your greatness, but also don’t be delusional.
damn, I think I've just been waiting for an excuse to have a huge ego for a while, now I do... Thanks!
Wow dude this really hit home. I was always a bit taller than average, but i hunched and slouched to avoid making others feel small.
Whoaaa screenshotting this.
Amazing video man! Love your wins and allow yourself to be PROUD of yourself
That's what spiritual people get wrong you can't really kill your ego, you need it to survive in this universe. It's about integrating it with yourself so you know when to use it to your benefit and when to not listen to it, balance. Also I believe ego to be a survival mechanism, ego is that voice that says "I need to kill that lion to survive". Ego is what makes you believe you are more important than others so you can survive.
Couldn’t have said it better
But that's what u dont get , having a ego its different from having a toxic ego...
is it why on many new age channel they keep focusing on trying to destroy or lower our ego?! I think so. Because then they control you! (us). ...
The enemy that becomes your friend as you look in the mirror
This channel is underrated af!
Great insight!
All of this is so true. Spot on once again! Thanks Drew.
Don't tell me what to do beta! That's my ego telling you what's up! JK good video
Appreciate you
I agree with this being too nice will get i trampled 😂 and taken advantage of if ur better than someone show it
Who you think you are is a complete illusion. If you believe you are what your ego tells you, it will end in disaster. We need to ascend this belief, and attack the world not from ego, but awareness.
I read Ryan Holiday's "Ego is the enemy" multiple times recently because I attributed a lot of my troubles to not being humble enough. Humble in the face of adversity, and learning to be a beginner again. Humble in what I excel at because it caused me "hubris". The thing is, the times I was the most ego driven where the times I achieved the most of what's important to me. And what I lacked was a sort of risk management to soften to potential downfall. Because that fuel, that insatiable energy, man is it useful. And you feel so alive when you believe in yourself. I guess life's lesson is always the same : find balance Turning against my ego felt like turning against myself :) no shit
“What i lacked was a sort of risk management to soften to potential downfall” Big time self awareness there. The ego that everyone assumes is bad is like a race car with no break system. The awareness is the balance point to a big ego. You can have a large ego, so long as it’s balanced by an equal sense of self-awareness
Algorithm
Ok !! lol don’t have to tell me twice
Excellent video thank you
a cup has to be empty to be filled with something new
Wow this is gold! Subscribed immediately
Growth is gritty! Often the tower has to fall first! Even then it’s continually building our resilience and even deeper levels of self love, self understanding and growth. 🙌
This couldn't have come at a better time, thanks for sharing!
Useful, informative and actionable, thank you. I'd add to this idea of losing your identity. I think you can accelerate this by completely losing all emotional investment in your identity and instead only emotionally investing in objectives. For me now, I have no interest in who I am, what my talents are, who I'm supposed to be, what I'm good at etc. All I care about now is objectives and what strategies will most plausibly yield those objectives. You very rarely become disillusioned with objectives and if you do, the replacement with a new objective is painless. And when you think what are you going to do at any given moment, you can just go through the loop of objectives, find the one with the most emotional weight right now, pull up whatever thing you were doing to pursue that objective and see if your brain has the capacity to pursue it. If not, loop through the objective list again. I think the problem we have with maintaining an identity is that it curtails action to grow in a particular way if it deviates too much from our identity. Over the past few years I've been more or less forced out of this perspective because my mind seems to change dramatically on a yearly basis with corresponding improvements in my capabilities in various areas of my life. You don't need to maintain your identity, biology more or less does that for you. Your task as a consciousness is to find ways to expand your capacity to perform, maintenance of that capacity is mostly automatic. For example, after reading a book on charisma I become dramatically more charismatic, but within the month although I felt like I forgot all of it and couldn't remember what I was supposed to be doing, all the benefits some how remained. I suspect some part of my brain silently automated the entire process, especially because the emotional rewards were substantial. Now I just get all of that for free and can start layering on further improvements.
Experiencing this so bad at the moment. Thought it was depression.

I've seen your video and A Deside To Watch it' Because I Fell Empty
