Hello Drew, thank you for your insight and perspective on this video here. If I could get some extra perspective on what you spoke about in this video, that would be great. I am 25 years old and am currently recovering from my 2nd elbow prosthetic replacement surgery, which came about from 9 elbow dislocations in 2 years during my HS/Jr College days. The situation I would like insight on is that my elbow is a one of a kind situation, where my doctors and PT experts are saying that over and over, that at 25, I have the arm of a 70 year old who fell on it wrong… without getting too much into it, its terribly depressing and quite pathetic truthfully. My best case scenario is 80% of normal. Its unfortunate but with how complex my arm is now, I have accepted this. However, I have not accepted the life and lifestyle that comes with this and being so young and being in this predicament - how do I begin to accept the reality that comes with this? I have lived a life full of what I call the Sideline perspective - as you can imagine having to opt out of a lot of things because of the safety of my arm and it’s difficult to accept this way of living for the rest of my life because I cannot physically reach the goals I want to set physically, I want to get off the sidelines and start catching some firsts downs! I dont even care about touchdowns, thatd be great but I just want to get out there. But instead, I am living a life of restrictions that put limits on what is perceivably possible and its got me feeling stuck. Which is how I found your content and have subbed and will watch some more to help find answers too. Any insight to help me get to a point of understanding and acceptance with this unique situation - or advice on what I can do to get started would be greatly appreciated. God Bless brother.

Yep exact scenario I am in. I had a Bachelor of Design with Honours in Visual Communication Design and 5 years experience in corporate and freelancing roles and can't for the life of me get work, been looking for 2 and a half years. Feels like I am somehow banned from being an adult man.

Keep going. Get scrappy. Do unconventional things. Let people know you exist and network like crazy. Put your work out there. Get loud on social media. Get into people’s DM’s. Serve them. Be valuable.
