Update 3 June: I want to take the time to thank all of you who have pre-ordered the film, the print portfolio and joined as Supporters so far. I'm really grateful for the kind support. The project now have funding to get me through the first couple of months of work and get some additional wind protection gear to be able to record high quality nature sounds even in windy conditions. Recording beautiful and authentic nature sounds will be an important part of the project. I still have 10 months of fieldwork + 4 months of post-production work that needs funding. If the budget allows I would also want to work with a local sámi musician to do the soundtrack to the film. Let's keep the momentum going! At the moment I'm preparing and packing up for a two week adventure into the old forest. I will get back with an update from this adventure here on the blog when I get back home. The sound of the streams are waaaaaaaaay too loud. You turn up the volume to hear you talk then suddenly fucking earbleeding due to the loud noises.

So beautiful, thank you! You have a great eye for photography, but also deep love for the place, which is something very strongly visible in your frames. And inspiring too. In two weeks I should be in Kvikkjokk. Doing some research about the area, I came across your channel. And I'm very happy I did. My full appreciation and best wishes!
