Forest Reflections (Pärlälven)

A film from a week out exploring the old growth forest in Pärlälvens Nature Reserve.
On this trip I decided to not have any expectations or goals for the photography. Instead it was all about getting to know a new area and explore the old forest.

I was listening to a podcast about a month ago which you were getting interviewed, after that podcast, I looked you up on UA-cam and found your channel. I enjoy your videos and you show nature at its best! This lake you filmed this video at looks a lot like Southeast Alaska where I grew up, I now live in Colorado and have a UA-cam Channel also where I film my backcountry photography adventures. Hey Michael! Thank you for reaching out. I checked out some of your videos and you have some wonderful nature in your neck of the woods. Must have been great to grow up in Alaska. I think the northern part of Sweden do have a lot in common with Alaska. Although at a smaller scale. Keep it up in the backcountry!

I'm keen on the Hyperlite bag and their other gear in general Magnus. I'm using Shimoda X70 for back packing but wondering if I need a lighter pack as I don't carry a lot of camera gear. How do you fit the MF camera gear in it? Always enjoy your stuff.

Hey, thanks! I use the Peak Design Camera Cube Medium which somewhat magically fits all my MF gear.

No, I think it’s important to mix it up a little. I find it hard to photograph the spruce/pine forest during summer. But it’s such a beautiful landscape to travel through!
