A perfect film. Perfect scenery. Perfect colours. And a perfect photographer eye. Thank you Magnus
Thank you Bilgehan for the kind words! Much appreciated!
I guess there are more than a thousand photos of this famous part of the Rapha Valley published in the net. But yours are truly worth being added.
Thank you for the kind words. Glad you liked them! :)
Thank you so very much, great pictures and one can feel your awe ❤👍
Your photography is Superb Magnus! Thanks.
Thank you for the kind words Michael!

Thanks for the tip... I haven’t thought about sending it in.... ;)
Thanks a lot!
@@MagnusLindbom What is the best behaviour if you encounter a swedish bear?
Greetings, awesome pictures 👍❤ I have to go and see that view for the summer and walk around the area of Kungsvegen . Takk Magnus
Toppen. Följer dina vandringar med stort intresse. Mvh Christer.
Thank you for taking me with you!
Thank you Robert for watching!
This is what patience and hard work will get you. Superb, Magnus. Wonderful stuff!
Thank you Ron! Really appreciate your encouraging comments!
Just one word, WOW..!

A great adventure and a beautiful movie, congratulations and thank you.
Thanks for watching - your’e welcome!
helt otroligt vilka fina vyer du lyckades fånga.
Magnus
Had seen this before. And saw it again today. Twice. Such a lovely work. Inspiring.
Thank you very much for the kind words. Glad you found it worth to rewatch!
Thanks for this wonderful video. Rapadalen is a wonderful place. And you have photographed and filmed beautiful lighting moods with your camera. The combination of film and music is impressive. Thank you for your great videos! Greetings from Sylvia and Chris from Germany.
Thanks a lot! If the video could revoke some memories of yours I feel like I’ve succeeded. Take care!
So beautiful film...! You really captured the beauty, the silence and the loneliness of the landscape with your photos. Not only with your photos: also with your sensitivity, with the way you tell the story, with the music you use with the images... How would I love to go there someday...! But I think I will freeze and become an ice statue, I´m not used to such a cold. Some time ago I searched on the internet images and info about nature and mountains of Scandinavia and I found some photos of Sarek and other places; I immediately fell in love with it and wished I could go there someday... And two days ago I found your website. The problem for me is the cold; I´m Spanish and I really have bad time with cold weather. At least I found your videos and can imagine being there, thank you!
Thank you very much for your kind comment!

I just discovered your channel through Alex Nail video. Beautiful photographs! I like your dedication to landscape photography, I would love to make a similar long trip with camping and photography. I tend to connect biketournig trips with landscape photography but I’ve never been to such a remote area
Thanks a lot! (and thanks Alex!)
Fantastiskt.
Tusen tack Jens för de fina orden. Det värmer verkligen att höra!

Hey David! Hope it looked good on the large 4K TV! Thanks!
It looked epic 👍
@@gainesy_walks Sweet! :)
I'm so blown away by watching your video. Not - only- because of the stunning photographs, also about your trip. 38 kg is unbelievable 🥵 I'm hiking too, but at least "5 steps under you"
28 kg on my shoulders... exceeds my personal maximum.

Grym film Magnus!

Inspirational as always Magnus! This film makes me want to go back to Sarek and Rapadalen even more. I think I once camped on a site almost similar to your first campsite on the mountain in this film. What a great spot and views!
Thank you so much Sander! Maybe we bump into each other one day in the mountains... would love to have a chat! :)
Fantastiskt vackert filmat!
A beautiful story, and tells so well what's really behind those great photographs. Thanks!
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed the photographs as well as the story. I think you know what it takes! ;)
@@MagnusLindbom I think we are on different levels though, your golden hour photos are just stunning :) I never have the patience to wait for the best moment...
Over 30 kilos, that is insane even with a packraft and a lot of food! I need to go through your gear list and see how much batteries total you carry, because I still have troubles with Fuji XT4 going through a single battery like *whoosh*.
@@exposedpaths Yes, it's mainly the camera gear that adds up with dual camera, mic for good audio etc. The GFX system is a bit heavier than my previous Sony but not by much. Although I brought all the lenses on this trip.
I try to be conservative with the amount of film I record on a trip like this. Good for battery life and makes the editing process easier... ;)
Great film, thank you.
Thank you David!
Flott video hilsen Norge .
Tack Espen!
Very professional and beautiful film! Really makes me want to go back to Sarek a third time. Thanks!
Thanks a lot Mats! Great to hear that it makes you want to go back! :)
Wow! Thank you for making such a lovely and inspiring film!
Thank you very much for watching! :)
Awesome!!!
Thank you Hayk!
Vackert filmat!

Thanks a lot Ângelo! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Very nice Magnus :) Really really good.
Thanks a lot Christian! Glad you enjoyed it! :)
Incredible story telling! Congratulations...
Thanks a lot Michael!
Mycket fint filmat Magnus 🙌👍
Tack Jens! Kul att du gillade den! :)
Grymt!
Tack Tobias! :)
Really amazing, great job!
Thanks a lot! :)
I think this is your best film so far. Very beautiful pictures as well. Do you know the name of the song in the end? 16:47
Thank you very much Ivan! The song is called A Lament for Peace by Ryan Taubert.
Cool scenery. I will have to visit sometime! #BelfastBanters
Thanks a lot - you should! :)
Magnus, this is really incredible. Thanks for creating and sharing. Greetings from Lithuania. I found super cheap airplane tickets for 19-27 of September. If i would start the hike on 20th, would i see autumn colours, or this is too late?
Thank you! It pretty much depends on the area and how the weather is until then.
Wow what is the song at 18:00? Lovely video!
Vackert!
Flott 👌🙂
Beautiful film Magnus and stunning pictures as well. I hiked in Sarek and Stora Sjofallet before and can't wait to go back. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
I see you switched tent from Suolo on your Padjelanta trip to the Niak. May I ask why you now choose the Niak? More space?
Thank you very much for the kind comment. I have collected a few tents over the years and usually choose the best depending on terrain, season and type of trip. I like the Niak because it’s larger and lighter than the Suolo.
But the Suolo is much better and warmer in the wind. The Niak takes in quite a lot of wind through the “ground vents”.
@@MagnusLindbom I´m planning a new trip to Sarek (my 3rd) in September this year, hiking and photographing. My previous trips in beginning September was a bit too early for the full authumn colours, colours started to appear by the end of my trip, so I´m now planning to go a week later. May I ask which dates in September you photographed these beatufull fall colours in Rapadalen? Thanks.
Magnus, lovely film from a gorgeous area. Which weeks do you recommend are the best to visit Padjelanta/Sarek to capture the autumn colors?
Thanks Lars! September is the month for autumn colors.
A lovely film, tank you for sharing your journey. Can you tell me what music you used for the video?
Thank you! Drop me an email...
Tack! :)
Beautiful and peaceful. Look forward to seeing more videos and photos!
One question, what dates exactly did you complete this trip? When will one catch the good weather and the beautiful autumn colors in Sarek? :)
Hi Viktoria! Thank you. Usually the first two weeks in September are the best for autumn colors in this area. Weather... well that depends.. ;)
Very nice 4K film & philosophy toward photography. When exactly did you go?
Thanks Simon! Glad you enjoyed it. Started a few days into September.
Great photos and video. I'm planning an autumn trek on Sarek. Can you recall the exact dates of your hike? and when did the first snow begin?
Hi Omer! Thank you. Usually first two weeks are the best... maybe a little later...
Another excellent video! The scenery is stunning and it’s interesting to follow you on your way to the pictures. Do you have a Patreon account?
Thank you very much Thomas! I'm glad you enjoyed this one as well. I do have my own version of Patreon here: magnuslindbom.com/sign-up
@@MagnusLindbom Great! You got my support!
Thank you! :)
What an experience - amazing work! 🙏 how do you manage with batteries for filming / photography over such a trip? Do you just take a lot with you or do you charge on the trip (solar)?
Hi Daniel! Thanks! I usually just bring the amount of batteries I need + a powerbank to top things off.
lol same question i be wondering, like i freak out with 2 batteries on backup and i think i will cry if batteries runs out yk !!
@@MagnusLindbom like whats the number 3, 5, 10 ?? i have so many questions lmao
Hej Magnus!
Could you tell me which month you traveled there?
