I have 5 Multiband 6 G-Shocks. They all get a signal each night and I’m in Stockholm. It works perfectly if I hang them on a metal bar facing the window.

I really believe the GW-9400 Rangeman is the best choice for day to day go anywhere watch. I love it. It is cheaper than the other comparable Master of G watches. It is a nice looking and a better built G-Shock too.

I just got the GB-1 version Mudman. $144.00 on Amazon as of this post right now. Superb watch that’s feature packed. Has all the standard G Shock functions and I’m impressed by the incorporated thermometer, compass and moon phase features. Nice & chunky, but not massive. Rides nicely on my medium sized wrist. I own a few G Shocks, all Tough Solar. Mine doesn’t have the Multi Band 6, but living in Hawaii, that feature doesn’t work here for me anyway, so it’s not an issue for me at all. Hard to choose a favorite, but I definitely recommend this watch. She’s a keeper. The gold digits display against the black background pops and it’s easy to read on this negative display. Casio got this one right.

I'm under impression, that you can recharge in sunlight, but underlying battery requires replacement when it dies???

The 9400 screws shoud be a prioriti, if you like whatches. Shame.

I just got the same one in flawless condition with paperwork and box on marketplace for 80$ i feel like i got a great deal on it. Not a single scratch or dent anywhere on it.

I have the ggb100. I love it. I use the compass all the time. I know of course the gwg has that functionality but I like the look of the ggb100 slightly better. The battery isn’t a problem at all. I have changed the battery and gasket already and is no problem if you can use a screwdriver. Takes maybe 5 minutes

I just got into g-shocks (about two months ago) and I stumbled upon your channel doing my research looking for my next model. Have you stopped making videos? Where else can I follow you?

After a time in very bright light, many of these will show H for a short time, but then go back to M (or L, wherever it was.) I think in the GSHOCK manual it might even mention something about that. I would trust the results of charging after a few hours rest in darkness. I just got a GA-B2100 and experienced this... you hit H and think you're good, but in actuality there's some charging left to go.

Great video! I watched it till the end. I have the Rangrman GW-9400-1 positive display and love it. It's my only G-Shock. Thinking about a 2100 as a smaller more versatile watch or maybe a square G the GW-5000U-1. Your video is a few years old. Did you get one of the GA-B2100 the solar version? What are your thoughts on those?

gwg is better quality close up. I have both, the GG close up just doesnt have it, great watch for sure but the gwg is just a solid beast

It's all about the color and style. Even a normal resin square (as long as it's mostly black) will work. Some Casioaks work and, like you mentioned, full metal ones will work too. Avoid colorful/bright colored g shocks with a suit though (same principle with other watches) to maintain looking smart/professional.

You didn't need to place watch in dark to drain battery... U just needed to keep pressing light on :)

My gg b100 battery went flat or faulty at the 14 month mark. Bought xmas 2022. Just 6 months after that July 24 the battery or watch is faulty again and a flat battery again. My bought insurance to extend the warranty for 2 years so I am now trying to get my money back or a new watch as I feel but xmas it will be dead again

I have the gg b100 and i relly dont need/want to get the gwg. Gg B100 is a beast.

I find the compass easier to read on the blackout model.

I was scared to do anything with mine because it seemed like it would let water in as the rubber really has "deformed" but I recently found out that it's just a case, the actual clock is inside that and the case can be customized to metal or anything you want! My first wrist watch ever and I'm in love with it (just slightly disappointed the rubber deformed)!

I think there are only a few watches about which more videos have been made. I first had the GWG100, but it was just a test purchase, to be honest. I wanted the 1000, which has been on my wrist for a few weeks now. I've always been in love with the design, the dial, the shape of the hands, the contrast of the colors. I own many more expensive watches, but I am particularly fascinated by Casio watches in general. I also love the Oceanus series, for example. The Mudmaster is something very special. It always gives me the feeling that the day can still be shit, the watch stays true to me. Have fun with your GWG1000.
