has anyone heard of a sony dcr-trv107? i ordered a dcr-trv 17 on enay, but received a dcr-trv 107 instead. I've never heard of a dcr-trv107 in my life, and i can't seem to find any information about it anywhere. it looks exactly the same as the dcr-trv 17. anyone know anything about this? would really appreciate some advice cos i spent quite abit on this camera.

Hi, I found this old cam at my home. It worked perfectly and we just take all the photos to our harddisk. I just love that this cam good still. After that i want to try that myself and put a dvd in it. It went throug in there is no problem. But after that dvd stuck in there my oto system just doesnt work my dvd is not coming outside. Can you help me or it just cant fixible. (Sorry for my bad English)

I bought one of these at a flea market for $20. Had the hard carrying case and all original paperwork and the docking station/adapter for av. I don't like how the view finder is in black and white lol but what are you going to do it was the 80s lol. I thought for the longest time the color sensor was broken because of the all black/white vf. I also had a few original batteries that will hold a small charge for about 45 min. Which is amazing for the old nicad batteries. I think there is a way to send them to like Poland or Germany and have them rebuilt for like a $100 a battery.

These JVC were alot cheaper quality compared to Sony. My JVC VHS-C has pulsing white flashing when playing back.

Hey, I was wondering if I can easily connect the AV cables if my camera (Sony CCD TR420e) only has the white and black RCA connectors. Can I simply only connect the white and yellow cable? Or do I have to get some other wire converter?

I'm having trouble fitting my 37mm fisheye lens onto my camera. I bought a 33mm lens adapter, but it still wouldn't fit. The lens has "33" at the end, so I thought the adapter would work. Can you tell me the millimeter size of this camera?

I dug out our old mini dv camera. Thomson VMD5 to be exact. Last it was used was back in 2012. And gotta say. The video quality although much worse than todays smartphone, somehow feels more like home/ nostalgic. Can really put my finger on it. But am thinking of using it again from time to time. Even found a firewire card and cable I boughr for it back in the day.

I have a 1984. I think RCA tube lens camera VHS it is not working to take deck broke. It won’t eject I know it’s belts But I wanna make it tapeless but it will not turn on. Should I clean the contacts on the wires with wire cleaner, contact cleaner or make sure any wires are not loose or use electrical cleaner can someone please help me I really want this camera to work like I did when I was a kid. Thanks love your videos. I want to use this camera to film car shows and stuff and cool movies like back rooms footage. if you have any ideas, let me know. Thank you.
