Nio unveiled the first EV under the new Firefly brand. The compact electric hatchback is named Firefly, as is the brand itself. Pre-orders for the Firefly have started in China at 148,800 yuan (about US$ 20,500).
The Firefly EV, like all Nio vehicles, features swappable batteries. China launch will happen in April 2025, European launch was not confirmed and the additional tariff makes it difficult but not impossible. It is expected that markets outside of China will happen later in 2025.
