So relaxed and loose approach yet it start looking like her right away….the rough sketch, everything. I also really like that you use only water with the miscible oil paints. It seems like that would cut down on any fumes or toxicities which would be helpful for some of us who are more susceptible. Thank you so much for this demonstration. Quite interesting how nice everyday foods and items look in a painting! May I ask you something? Do you varnish these oil paintings? And if so, how long do you have to wait before you varnish it? I’ve heard that these paints dry a little faster than regular oils, but on the site of Artisan it says you have to wait 6-12 months before varnishing 🤔 And on the Cobra site they say that theoretically you can mix acrylic paint with these oil paint. Would acrylic varnish work for water mixable oil paints?

I hate painting cool blue lights, because it feels uncozy. But then you paired it with a very warm background. I feel like that balances it out well.

For neutral grey, do I mix black+white+orchard?

Thank you for this full process video. I want to try oil painting, but I don't have a room in my apartment that I can dedicate to it. It's great that you can buy these water mixable oil paints now. I just love how little paint you need and that it stays wet so you can blend it.

I love these longer full demo videos, they're so nice to watch and see it all come together stroke by stroke. Very nice for learning too and seeing how other artists work with oil paint! Also shows that painting doesn't have to take weeks to finish. Thanks, Dennis:)
