Hypnosis for Releasing Subconscious Worry & Anxiety
If you’ve been living with the anxiety and constant worry, it can make it can leave you stuck in a spiral of negative thinking and overthinking. So, I’ve created this guided hypnosis session to help you deeply relax your mind and body as you listen quietly and let go of any tension, anxiety or worry that you may have had. With practice and repetition, this session will work with your subconscious mind to help you develop new and more helpful ways of thinking to overcome the habit of overthinking and worrying, because we know worry is the main cause of anxiety, and as you make those changes gradually, you’ll gain greater control over your thoughts, your feelings and your emotions, as you begin to experience a more peaceful state of mind.
How does hypnotherapy work for anxiety and worry? In my clinical practice online, we combine solution focused talking therapy with hypnosis to help clients overcome many emotional and physical struggles which are caused by or made worse by anxiety or stress. It’s a powerful combination of psychotherapy and hypnosis which means change can happen in a relatively short period of time. Unlike traditional counselling methods Solution Focused therapy focuses on the present and the future in a positive way, how you want things to be, rather than dwelling on the problems of the past. Thinking about life in a positive way helps rewire your brain, an integral part of the process because it helps build new healthy patterns of behaviour which means you'll be less likely to dwell on things in life, breaking the often-debilitating cycle of negative thinking and anxiety.     This is a good description. However, as a ( retired) NHS high intensity psychotherapist, we were taught that panic is a "catastrophic misinterpretation of bodily sensations" ( forgot citing) Working with panic disorder. And mostly using interoception/ implosion exposure therapy, this worked on most of my patients.

    I have CPTSD, Major Depression, Generalized anxiety, Panic Attack disorder, debilitating IBS, and I think I have undiagnosed OCD with a helping of what I suspect may be BPD or Type II bipolarism. My uncle who was my father figure growing up, my rock who was there for me as a child when my parents abused the hell out of me as a child, unalived himself during COVID lockdowns, and that just broke me completely. At one point in 2022, i was seeing 4 different therapists for different kinds of treatments, like EMDR (game changer!), DBT, and talk therapy, as well as self medicating with psychedelics, psilocybin and DMT, both of which I grow/make myself. I know I'm a hot mess. I've been using these hypnosis videos you've made while on psychedelics. This is what I would imagine actual psychedelic therapy would be like. I put on a sleep mask with built-in headphones and just ride the wave of calm. I will say, I didn't get a lot of of mindfulness. I find my mind races too fast for it to really benefit me. These videos work a thousand times better. Almost immediately I felt my anxiety just melt away. The psychedelics help tremendously with my depression, to the point now that I rarely feel down. I'm taking psilocybin every other week and DMT nightly. No real sadness to note. EMDR helped me cope with past trauma tremendously. Up to recently, I have not had an answer for my crippling anxiety, despite the other treatments working very well for my other issues. Until now. Your calming voice, technique and skills have calmed me like nothing else before in my life. I no longer experience anxiety during my trips so long as I'm listening to these, which has greatly improved the effectiveness and my tolerance for being on those substances. I can focus on doing the introspective work with them as intended with such a calm. Thank you so much for these. Even after ONE session, I already felt a calm that has been so alien to me. I can't describe how grateful I am to have access to these on my own terms, whenever I want for free, and without judgement for resorting to self medicating with psychedelics. This is the future of therapy for people like me. Words cannot describe any of this really, and I'm sorry to bombard you with so many of them. You've likely added years to my life and I cannot thank you enough. You and your videos are a precious treasure.

    These are great sessions, very helpful, thank you! However I find the visuals very distracting as the changing pictures creat a change in light and they are too bright in a darkened room even with eyes closed. A black screen would be very helpful.

    Thank you! it's hard to change those intuitive reactions of resistance during fight of flight, but I guess it's a practice I must practice often. I always get caught up in the content of my anxious thinking - usually about the symptoms i'm experiencing, I fear fear itself and how it makes me feel and the possibility of feeling it again. I'll work towards showing my brain with acceptance that it doesn't have to protect me from my own anxiety. Also, AWESOME HAIR! :D

    This was kinda helpful But im still wondering what i can do..(your videos helps) but i have lived with anxiety and at times panic attacks like since i was 13 and im 33 now.. so i found my ways to calm it down and knowing when my anxiety starts so i could talk it down before it evolved into a panic reaction.. However like 6 months ago i had a concussion which have given me some problems like ringing for my ears, dizziness and my brain getting overstimulated And if there really isnt anything wrong then it has really kickstarted that panic attack and made it into a panic disorders as when my brain gets exhausted or after pumping stress out all day it just sending me closer and closer to a panic attack I dont know if you got any advice My brain need rest to heal from that concussion but it has also kickstarted a stress response and then that stress response make me go into anxiety, discomfort and at time attack of some sort.. I dont expect a solution but maybe you have an advice?.. also a hypnosis video focused on stress relief and also to calm the nervesystem would be appropriate.. i know that the stress relief and anxiety is related but the focus on stress and to teach the brain that its okay to lower that production of cortisol.. i think that could be extremely helpful But im happy that ive found your channel.. it really helps when im on the edge of stress and fear

    I absolutely love doing this meditation with you. I’m struggling with anxiety and have a very hard time relaxing myself once it starts and this is something I struggle with every single day. I’m going through some changes in my life, and I have some challenges in front of me. I truly appreciate your efforts and I will be doing this meditation every day when I get anxious to help me get through the day at work.
