By the lore the powered armor consists of "adamantium and ceramite". So advanced ceramic and metal composite armor. The twin multi-laser did crater the Sergeant’s armor. And as a light anti-armor weapon, he certainly was not going to just ignore the fire. As for insignia, since the majority are white it is safe to assume it means normal Astartes, and black for Sergeant. The three chevrons seem to be their chapter’s mark for Tactical Squads, the general purpose types. For those in white, the Roman 1 within the cross indicates they are Veterans and with First Company, who are all veterans. The laurel wreath markings on the helmet mark the one with the cape as the Captain of First Company. The one in red robes with the stylized "I" with skull is a member of the Inquisition and a psychic, or psyker, at that. He lost focus shouting the warning to pull the Marines back and,…well he got a roommate.

Something that people tend to get confused about is the fact that there aren’t multiple swarm lords, it’s THE swarm lord. It’s the same entity each time. Yes it’s been killed multiple times over the years, but it has it’s “consciousness” (if you could call it that) re-absorbed into the hive mind every time, and it’s subsequently re-awakened whenever the hive mind has need of it. The Guilliman Returns! video by The Amber King is really cool if you’d like to get into Roboute Guilliman lore. Although that one doesn’t get into his upbringing, it starts off midway into his story and goes all the way into present day.

I don't know what personal issues you have, but your community is desperately asking you to please be well and return to us to keep reacting to the WoW cinematics. You are the only person I've seen who truly reacts naturally, and that's very enjoyable. Come back because there are many things that have happened in WoW that we need you to see.

If anyone reading this is considering picking up the game remember this; everything that has stats in this game can be farmed for free with enough patience. and the quests? Only require progress. Hell, the premium currency is a tradable item, so you could even let the whales pay for it and trade stuff you don't need for it. Cosmetics and fast forwards are basically the only thing you really need platinum for (and cosmetics are the only thing that requires real money at all(), but the grind is very real.
