Well, not "now" now, as I am still well over 200 episodes behind the show's current episodes... Guess I really need to catch up sooner than later ^^. Anyways, enjoy the ride. Oda has an amazing writing talent who knows how to mix silly and serious in the best of ways. He can take it from the most outrageous nonsense comedy to a dark and brooding drama in an instant without making any of that feel forced or contrived.
one piece is the ying to warhammer's yang. onepiece is solar and stright forward, with a seed of darkeness, where warhammer is dark and helpless ,with a ray of light and hope ... those two are among my favorite IP's EVER.
Ah...One Piece it's going to be a great journey! I am a fan of the more episodes the better. I loved watching it..I don't know started maybe 15-18 years ago and watched it till 2021 maybe...Once you start it will hook you right in. For me, it's always sub > Dub. Glad you started subbed one. It might be weird at first but it'll get better as more episodes some. I couldn't stop watching it till reached the halfway point. I don't want to spoil anything. But It's going to be great and you'll have a lot of content.

This is my favorite anime, I have watched every episode up until the Wano Kingdom arc, I am waiting for that specific arc to be finished and then I am planning on binge watching all of it at once, I definitely prefer One Piece subbed than dubbed because it's one of the few anime I don't like the dub for, I can watch any anime sub or dub with the exception of DBZ, I cannot get used to Goku sounding like a child, it irritates me, but other than that I'm good, just a heads up this anime is an investment but it does get really awesome as the show goes on, but that's just my opinion.
One piece is a helluva drug, says I after finding yet another person to vicariously enjoy the series through!
